Awesome gym in the heart of old city. They do crossfit style workouts, HIIT and open gym. Big space, great coaches, good equipment and some of the best programming I've ever had. Everyone trains hard and it's a very social environment.

Great to see the Fortitude Fitness community evolve into this new location! Their classes challenge you every day and their staff is always there to give you that extra push or support when you need it. They also have a great selection of machines and weights, if an open gym is more your style.

Co-owners Fairlane Collar, new mom and fitness and nutrition coach, and Nik Hecht, new dad (x2!), coach and CrossFit Games Athlete competing with Team Open Box Athletics (OBA) in 2022, have "evolved" their former Northern Liberties neighborhood gym, Fortitude & Co, into Evolve Fitness PHL. Evolve occupies the former Fearless Athletics CrossFit Penns Landing location and we're excited to see the iconic brick box garage door open once again! With a variety of state-of-the-art fitness equipment for all levels, Evolve aims to be THE gym for the Philadelphia fitness community. Evolve offers one-hour functional fitness or CrossFit-style classes, 30-minute High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) classes, and open gym.Whether you're 27 or 72, the coaches will meet you where you are in your fitness journey, help you meet your individual goals, provide a variety of scaling options, and focus on form and quality of movement. As a new mom, being fit and healthy is very important to me. I look forward to my time at the gym and everyone is super friendly and welcoming.I'm excited to see what Evolve has to offer. Come check it out!

I joined EVOLVE about 3 weeks ago and have LOVED every class and coach I’ve met. The coaches walk the walk. They lead by example. The group atmosphere is awesome. I wasn’t feeling it at my prior box. This change has given me motivation to keep getting stronger.

Evolve is by far the best gym that i've found since moving to Philadelphia. The space offers both coach-led classes and every machine you'd want for an open gym workout. Me being new to Crossfit, the staff has been great in helping to build the foundation needed to excel in the classes. Can't recommend enough

Evolve Fitness is an amazing gym right in the heart of Old City. The coaching staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable, and the workouts will definitely push you. They also have machines available for people who don't want to deal with the globo gym crowd. This gym is awesome, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great workout and an amazing community!

Best gym I have been a member at! The coaching is top notch- shoutout to Nik and Ryan who run the morning classes. The workouts are fun yet intentional, and the community is awesome! Whether you are just starting your fitness journey, looking to get back in the gym, or just want to explore something new, Evolve is the place for you.

I can't say enough about Evolve. Nik Hecht, and his team of coaches are highly-skilled experts in all aspects of fitness. They are also some of the kindest and most encouraging people you'll ever meet. It is a very warm and family-like environment at Evolve that welcomes all ages and experience-levels.The classes are incredibly effective (AND HARD). You can learn so much and notice gains very quickly...all you have to do is show up and be willing to work! The classes are also pretty small, so you can get a very good amount of attention from the coaches, who are accessible and eager to help you find the weight/movement that is best for you.The space is just incredible. Huge warehouse with racks, rigs, BB's, DB's, ergs, pads, boxes, AND machines! (The space was formerly Fearless Atheltics, but the set up is now way better). My personal experience is that I worked out in regular gyms for over ten years, but after starting classes at Evolve (formerly Fortitude), I will never go back to that. I find that I just get so much more out of the time and effort put in at a place like this -- not to mention it's a lively, fun, social environment. I'm 34, in the best shape of my life, and have made new friends here. For the money you pay, it's the best value in the city.
