I Used to go here a couple of years ago, but I had to leave, needless to say in my time here I learned all sorts of things. Not just punches and kicks but discipline and many other things. Everyone was kind and would help you through things you couldn't do so for those reasons I give this place five stars. Also, glad to see your doing good. From christopher

Far East Martial Arts is an amazing school to teach you self-defense. I started when I was 10 years old and did not know anything about self-defense. I trained and worked hard thanks to my amazing teachers. I got better and better every week with the advice my teachers gave me. They taught me many things that will help you now in your daily life and in the future. They tell everyone that you only use self-defense when you are in danger not for fun. The most important thing they taught me is to be kind, make friends, don't let anyone feel left out, and be respectful. You also get to train to compete against other school and get new belts. I was taught many cool and amazing forms to preform at the tournaments. Anyone can preform very good forms and amazing the audience, but that takes time and a lot of practice. Patience is something else I also learned there. You cannot achieve your goals if you don't try or cheat. It takes time and a lot of patience until you can do it right. I didn't start off amazing when I joined, I barely even knew how to kick. But I practiced and practiced until I finally could kick well. Everything just takes time, if you are willing to put the effort in then you will be able to do the same. I am Aaron Nguyen from Far East Martial Arts. A new red belt and the motto I go by is, "No Pain, No Gain."

I have known Sifu Cardinale for over 25 years. He is an incredible martial arts instructor, who has a passion for teaching and deep desire to see his students succeed. Far East Martial Arts truly is a family who cares for one another. It is an experience I recommend you try for yourself.

My daughter has been going to FarEast Martial Art for about 2 months. My daughter needed to increase confidence and get exercise. She tried gymnastics, dance, and cheer but did not continue with them. So far she is showing more interest in working with FarEast Martial Arts. Sifu Mike and Sifu Shawn have given the needed attention to keep her involved and to want to practice at home. Thecross between Kung Fu, Tai Chi, MMA, and Kick boxing. The keep everyone working consistently keeping students moving, keeping the mind and body involved. Anyone attending will learn self-defense and martial artis, while building self-confidence.

I would like to give a huge shout out to the instructors here at Far East Martial Arts. They are great at what they do, and are extremely patient. This is the best martial arts school in the valley. You learn techniques that work in any situations. Kids learn to not be the bully, but are taught to be able to defend against bullying. It helps with focus, balancing, and all-and-all having a good quality of life. I highly recommend this martial arts school out here in the west side of Phoenix.

My 4 year olds have a hard time commiting to any activity and they love their karate class because it is the perfect mix of fun with their peers and serious learning. They are mixed with older kids but all of the kids are kind and assist in teaching the little ones. I love that among the group they still get one on one attention and they are learning self defense they can apply in a real world situation.

My experiences with Far East Martial Arts have always been positive. Sifu Mike is a colleague as well as one of my instructors, and always goes out of his way to help his students. Him and his partner have added additional classes to make the times convenient for everyone, and they even have fun, social activities for the kids. In the classes I've observed, they teach discipline and values such as doing well in school, listening to your parents, and showing respect for others. Overall, training and being affiliated with this school is like being part of a family.
