CrossFit Azimuth became my first home away from home when I moved from NH to Texas. The community is fun, helpful, and motivating. This gym trains a wide spectrum of fitness levels, from people just getting into fitness, to athletes who want to compete in competitions.

I joined Crossfit Azimuth yesterday. After searching the area and dropping in at other boxes, Azimuth was the right fit for me. The facility is clean, well maintained equipment, good coaches and a friendly, welcoming environment. Happy to call Azimuth my new home Crossfit box. UPDATE: I have been here now for over a year and I still love it here. Great programming, clean and new equipment. **Update** I have been here now for over a year and a half and I love it. The programming is really good and the coaches are outstanding. You should drop-in and give Azimuth a go. You will see me at the 5am class!

Great facility with a welcoming environment. I came here not only looking to get back in the sport and in shape, but to find a community. I’m only 6 weeks in and am already feeling healthier and making great connections with the staff and members. If you’re looking for a home with great flexibility in the workouts - come here!

I just passed the 6 month mark so thought it was appropriate to finally leave a review. I joined Azimuth after a not so great doctor's appointment gave me the reality check I needed. After not working out for 2+ years (hello 20 extra pandemic pounds and elevated cholesterol!) getting back into it was ROUGH to say the least. But I'm so thankful to have found this box, because believe me when I say not all CrossFit boxes are created equal! From my first consultation with Kendyll I felt right at home. Besides the simple pros like being less than 10 minutes from my house, clean equipment, convenient class times, etc., the best part of this box are the people. Coaches Kendyll and Carina give you just the right combination of encouragement while also pushing you to surpass your own personal limits and comfort level. Everyone in class is supportive and encouraging, no matter where you are in your fitness journey. I still have a long way to go to reach my goals, but I'm down 8 lbs, cholesterol levels are down by 12, and I just feel so much better both physically and mentally. I can't wait to continue my journey here, and coming to class each week is one of the highlights of my day (even on the days I get my a** kicked by the WOD!). If you're reading this and considering joining, just DO IT! You won't regret it.

I started my CrossFit journey at CrossFit Azimuth 3 years ago as a way to bring balance to my structure. I realized as a lady going into my 40’s that my hypermobility and low muscle mass would be a liability and that the best way to gain stability around my joints was to engage in functional movement patterns that combined strength with mobility. After doing a lot of research, I felt that the CrossFit methodology would be best. From day 1 I felt that the staff at CrossFit Azimuth cared a great deal about supporting me in my goals and reducing risk so that I would not compromise my structure in the process. I loved that they wanted me to establish a good foundation of technique and the private lessons I received in the beginning were key in getting me started on the right path. I highly recommend that everyone at some point (beginners should of course do this sooner) have private lessons with the coaches. It is money well spent and an investment for yourself that you won’t regret! In a group setting, the coaches watch attentively and will help you improve your technique as you complete the workout. This is sometimes accomplished with a quick, clear, well-timed cue and other times may involve them coming up to you, asking you to pause for a bit and try something specific to be effective in a movement. Even before the workout, the coaches want to help you understand how to scale the workout for your condition. I also think the community here is great! Each person finds their level of intensity to work at that’s appropriate for them and the goal is for everyone to finish whether it’s for time or rounds. There’s a really healthy sense of support and encouragement among the members during a workout! Now that I’m 3 years in with the methodology at this particular gym, I’m really shocked at how far I’ve come. The benefits for me have gone beyond my expectations. I can go to Colorado and do hikes at high altitudes without much trouble breathing and enjoy sport climbing outdoors. I can go to the climbing gym with my college age kids and enjoy bouldering with them. I’ve even felt a significant improvement in my mental health - seasonal affective disorder used to be a problem for me, but I haven’t experienced that since I’ve incorporated CrossFit into my wellness routine.I’ve learned recently that not all CrossFit boxes are the same. I feel very lucky to have started with Azimuth, as they are holding true to the importance of foundational movement mechanics.I highly recommend this place! Absolutely 5 stars!

Sitting in a busy holiday airport it's dawned on me I have not reviewed my Azimuth experience. It's been several months since I've joined CrossFit Azimuth and the experience has been great. By no means am I a CrossFit aficionado, but I've been to enough boxes to know the good from the bad. Azimuth is definitely at the top of the list. The coaches provide great instruction and are quick to offer tips to improve our skills. Most often Kendyll has been my coach and she is amazing. Her method of instruction has helped me improve many of the sticking points I've struggled with in the past. I also have to mention the 5 am crew at Azimuth. They have all been very welcoming and a joy to work out with. I look forward to continuing my fitness journey at CrossFit Azimuth!

Best family of crossfitters ever. Great instruction, extremely encouraging coaches and members, and spot on training schedules. I have come and gone, but I just can't stay away from this gym. Thank you Azimuth for helping me get myself back, inside and out. Still a work in progress, but we're getting there!

I started my CrossFit journey with Azimuth in January 2020 and have grown as an athlete and in my health thanks to the amazing coaches at this gym. I recently had a baby and they coached me through my pregnancy, which was my most healthy pregnancy I had, and now post partum. I trust them implicitly and love my 5am class! They are one of the few gyms in the area who has a 5am (vs 5:30) and it's perfect for my schedule. LOVE Azimuth!Adding: Clean equipment, awesome programming!
