LA Fitness

I have been going to this gym on a regular basis for the last 3 years and it has always done the bare minimum. The Hot Tub is once again broken and in service for the 5th time in 3 years. There is only one working shower in the men's room and I am sick of working out in a half cleaned gym. I am going to the LA Fitness on Raceway from now on.

I get non-stop calls to my number trying to get me to join over the past month. The sales guy mumbles so fast and inaudibly it's almost hilarious. Seriously, though, please stop.

I went into the gym to inquire about a day pass and membership. Mellisa at the front desk was rude and lacks customer service skills. I will not be joining your gym. I would highly recommend having a friendly front desk staff. First impressions are lasting impressions.

Super dirty and not enough people in charge to clean up the common areas like their men shower area, bathroom, and sauna filled with trash alive Cockroach and super filthy floor. It smells Disgusting 🫣It has been like this for almost a whole year and I personally asked them to take care of it, but it looks like no one cares at all.

It is a nice gym. The equipment is relatively up to date. The gym is very clean. Separate men and women sauna in locker rooms. I have gone to two different LA Fitness gyms in the area and this is the case with both of them. They are one of the few places with racquetball courts. The staff is extremely polite and helpful with one notable exception. In both gyms the managers have zero customer service skills. They actually hide from customers. In one case the manager pretended to be a new employee who couldn't help me and asked me to wait until someone else came in to work. However, the gyms are clean and the equipment is working. As long as other staff is available to help you things will go great.

The manager, Noah, is always courteous and helpful and rakes care of a problem when you bring it up. The instructors are friendly and the classes are good. The club is always very clean.

Visited this gym in particular, trying out three day pass. However my first impression of the whole place seems depressing. Doesn't look alive like a gym should given its prime location. I don't think I will be back .a gym in this area needs to be more alive. Also the womens locker room is yes basic, but at least have the showers work to where your not having just cold water come out...

Very good gym. No over-the-top amenities, so membership dues are very reasonable. Simply a good place to get a good work out. Unlike other gyms I have joined in the past, the staff addresses needed repairs quickly, so equipment stays in good working condition. Staff is friendly and attentive. 5 stars for this location of LA Fitness.
