I have been a member at LA Fitness for a decade. Karina s greeting at the front desk was amazing/exciting. Inspired me, WORKOUT!!!

I was told the day pass was 20$ cash only or CashApp… LA fitness has a 3 free day trial policy that he could’ve told us about(or just let us pay with card like the next door LA Fitness did) but I’m pretty sure he was just trying to pocket our money and scam us. Pretty sure that’s illegal or at the very least and shows they have a management problem. I didn’t catch his name but he was a tall black man working the front desk 9/2/2023 working at 12.40ish midday. Should be fired or at the VERY least retrained.

Staff almost always looks like zombies and I wish they provided towels for members to sanitize equipment after use but good location

This is a convenient location for me, but most of the time I go out of my way to the Edina location. The equipment at SLP is dated, often dysfunctional, and sometimes dangerous. The treadmills are not evenly weighted on the floor, so they wobble. I’ve had two separate occasions where a treadmill cuts out on me in the middle of a run. Both times, I felt very lucky that I didn’t hurt my knee. I reported it to the staff both times. They put signs on the treadmills saying that they are “scheduled for service” (there are currently several of these signs on treadmills) yet it keeps happening. The staff is friendly and the place is relatively clean, I just don’t think that the equipment is consistently safe in its current state. Be careful.

Staff here, especially Brian, were tremendously helpful in showing me around for a day pass. Much nicer than the staff at many other gyms, especially Anytime fitness.

Piyush barlola has been reprimanded. My account is in good standing. The manager is Christian. Piyush Refused to let me use my own gym because of the time I'm entering the gym, locking doors during business hours is against company policy. Do not use this location. Corporate you need to fix. Discriminatory. total lack of customer service. I have never had a worse experience I will avoid this gym at all costs. 😭😭😭👑👑****After brain salesman spoke to manager christian about the issue I was informed that Piyush was spoken to but will correct his behavior.Have not gone back yet, but I will soon.Changed to 5* for brains professional response. Waiting to see the results.💯💯

The staff has always been great here! Very friendly, helpful, very accommodating, answered questions throughly, and worked well with what I needed. The facility is clean, cleaning staff friendly, and has everything you need at a gym. Thank you all! Brian the manager has been awesome too! Highly recommend going here and making it your gym!

Love the club! I personally feel safe here. I’m honestly not sure what the previous reviewer is talking about, she says her car for sure got scratched here, but if that is true she would also have to know exactly who did it - which means the club is very secure and her car would be fixed.. some people just like to complain I guess?Overall this club is amazing and the staff is great, all the amenities you could need!

I am a former front desk employee who is now a member. I worked with the new General Manager Brian for a bit, and I agree with other reviews - he is one of the best managers out there. I'm glad he's getting recognition.I saw him today and he asked me if I could write a review after he saw Lady Luna's review. I have to tell you, this club is cleaner than I have ever seen. If you are concerned about the virus, then how can you be upset about a few amenities like hot tub and sauna temporarily being closed? That's to protect members! You can't have it both ways.And as far as people using the gym goes, of course not everyone will wipe off everything each time. I am seeing they are doing a better job than before, and most people are doing good about it.Let me ask her this, do you go grocery shopping? Are you making sure to leave a 1 star review for them because customers touch shelves without sanitizing them?Because if you aren't and haven't boycotted them, I would suggest you do so. People are constantly grabbing things off shelves without sanitization, at a much higher rate than machines are used here.At least here they constantly have janitors cleaning to take care of the members who don't. Right now I see this guy even cleaning the bases of the treadmill.I recommend this LA Fitness for anyone looking for a clean gym to be healthy with staff that cares about you.
