Older bigger woman with blonde short hair is very rude and likes to stare. It made me uncomfortable as a newcomer. I believe she is a employee based off of her shirt she was wearing (black with neon pink lettering of the gym name) Find better staff if thats the case. The only thing worth mentioning is there is a cute dog here. Probably won’t come back due to the bitter taste that woman left in my mouth.

Went in with a friend to check out the equipment and the vibe, the owners are both fantastic guys. They spent the time to talk with us and find out where each of us is at in our fitness journey, they treated us both like equal humans and didn't do a hard sell for anything at all. The hardware is all old school, mostly York plates, well maintained. The space is great, there's an elevator available in the back for those who can't do stairs, a small parking lot, and plenty of street parking as well.We definitely both joined! So if you want a place that isn't full of condescending dudes hogging all the plates, come check it out!

So grateful for Norm and his gym. I truly appreciate the fact that he chose the location to intentionally be a part of the North Minneapolis community. He’s been a trainer for years and has a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm that he loves to share with anyone who enters the gym. The space has everything you need including some specialty equipment that you won’t find at other gyms. I also appreciate the vibe and “old school” feel…good music and good people. I’m looking forward to going again and secretly am hoping that Norm’s dog will be there.
