Strength Union is an absolute gem for those seeking a dedicated powerlifting haven. The moment you step in, it's clear that this is no ordinary gym. Rows upon rows of barbells and an abundance of power racks greet you, ensuring that the coveted iron isn't just available but plentiful. Rarely do I encounter any waiting time for a power rack, making each workout seamless and efficient.Unapologetically tailored to powerlifting aficionados, Strength Union forgoes the typical cardio machines and weight contraptions. This space is an ode to the art of powerlifting, evident in its meticulously color-coded barbells, specialty bars neatly arranged in the rear rack, and an exhaustive collection of accessories that would make any powerlifter's heart skip a beat. Dumbbells stand ready, an air bike beckons, the rower awaits, and a select few weight stacks are in place.Strength Union seamlessly bridges the gap between a garage gym's intimacy and a comprehensive equipment arsenal. Without a doubt, Strength Union earns a resounding 10/10 from me.

If you are looking for a powerlifting gym look no further. They have numerous barbells and plentiful power racks. Only rarely did I ever have to wait for a rack to work out.Being a power lifting gym, don't expect rows of cardio machines or numerous weight machines. This gym is 100% geared towards powerlifting. They have all their barbells color coded, specialty bars in the back rack, and every imaginable accessory device/machine for powerlifting. They have a rack of dumbbells, an air bike, a rower, and a few weight stacks as well.I would highly recommend this gym to anyone looking to improve their strength through barbell training.

Dropped in awhile back and it's a solid gym with the best equipment you could ask for, however... I cannot give a high review to a business who gives gender based benefits. Yep, if you're female, you get to participate in a women's only group for no extra cost. One for men doesn't exist. This is gender taxing

This is a great gym with real people just there to workout, get stronger, and encourage each other to do the same. Great crew of people and very good and tidy facilities.

Could not have asked for a better gym for my year spent in PDX as a travel nurse. Right on my commute to work, 24 hour access for my weird shifts, the exact machines I needed, and the best community. For a powerlifting gym - this had all the bells and whistles I needed as a primarily hypertrophy-style weightlifter. I knew I didn't want to join a globe-gym - and I am so thankful SU existed so I could enjoy a garage gym feel while still having all the equipment I need. It's been a year full of gains, for sure. 10/10. Will miss.
