Took a morning to climb when visiting Portland. This gym was really unique. Huge open windows to the outside streets. The boulders would often top out on top and you'd be sort of up in the rafters and walk down stairs to get back down. Interestingly set routes. To top it off the staff was super friendly and gave some great tips for while we were in Portland. Loved it!

Tons of wall area, helpful staff, decent rates. The routes are changed weekly on a rotating schedule around the gym to keep it fresh. A filtered water station for water bottles is available at the drinking fountain. They also have nail clippers to borrow, or if you find that gross you can buy your own for a dollar. The entire place is kept impressively clean. If you're a month to month member, you can put snacks and drinks on your next monthly bill.Overall very happy to be a member here.

I was visiting Portland for 10 days and was planning on climbing at several gyms. The friendliness of the staff and diversity of problems caused me to have little desire to try anywhere else. Good vibes. Good people. Good climbing. Look no further.

I love this place and have been going there for almost 5 years now. Consistently interesting and challenging problems. Nice work out areas for training. Could use showers, but besides that perfect.

Love bouldering here! Climb up as many routes as you can before your arms fall off. No ropes needed, big squishy pads to cushion your fall from no more than 20 feet. Great for newcomers and experienced climbers alike

A great place for absolutely new climbers to walk in for the first time. Without ropes or other special gear, all you need to start are comfortable clothes, shoes, and chalk — and you can rent the shoes and chalk if you don't have your own. Staff are friendly and welcoming, and if you need guidance there's a beginners' class once a week. I started climbing just a few weeks ago and now I'm hooked.

My time at the Circuit Gym was short but the staff is friendly and easy to reach both at the gyms and through their emails. Fun and friendly environment, would recommend to novices and experts alike.
