The management is very helpful and professional. They are often on site to answer any questions. There is lots of equipment to choose from. In general the gym has a good vibe with polite staff and members.

I like GymIt a lot. They have a lot of good equipment and for a decent price! The workers are always friendly and I've never really had any issues with waiting too long for a piece of equipment.

Good place for an affordable price! Locker rooms could use some work : how are you suppose to shower there during the winter if there are no hairdryers? Easy fix!

An amazing staff and all equipments that you could ask for. Even though this place gets packed during peak hours (after work), arrive here a little early to conquer the machines at your convenience. Oh and the hydro massage chairs are simply the best for easing sore muscles. It's hard to get anything better for this cheap !!

GymIt has been my gym now for almost a year, and I'm absolutely devastated to be moving away from it. It is by far the nicest and cheapest option around the area, and is never too busy to the point where I can't complete a workout. I use all the free weights and machines, and all of it is always in great condition. GymIt is always maintaining their equipment (Replacing padding, cleaning cables to keep moving smoothly, etc) and providing members with the latest fitness necessities. And it's under $40 a month for the VIP membership (guest access, unlimited class participation, use of their other location in Watertown) with no commitment! You can even "freeze" your membership for very little money so if, say, you're a student and you go home for the summer, you don't have to pay the registration fee once you come back. This is all UNHEARD OF in Boston. Not to mention it is super accessible even if you don't have a vehicle by bus (route 57) or the train (B Line Branch). Overall, the best gym in Boston for someone who wants to NOT break the bank and work around their changing lifestyle.

Staff is friendly, but it’s not a very lifter friendly gym. It only has regular commercial barbells, and the plates are weird. Chalk also isn’t allowed which is a bummer. I guess it’s a good gym if you’re not too serious about training, or just workout to stay fit. The first time you go is free so that’s a plus.

Lots of gyms have extras and that can be nice but if you're looking to "get in and work out" like their motto says you can't get a better deal. The have enough machines that I've never had to shuffle my routine and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The garage in the back will cost you around a dollar for an hour with a validated ticket.

I’m a new member and I’ve really enjoyed the gym so far. I come in the mornings when it’s not busy, so I’m able to get in all my sets without interruption. The bathroom/lockeroom is nice and clean. I’m glad I joined. I received February free and will be paying $24 monthly after that. If you’re wondering whether to join, you should.
