These guys have the BEST setters! I've been climbing for about 5 years and bouldering here has been the most fun I've had in a long time.

Awesome place to fulfill a passion for climbing. Good for younger and adult ages. Training is required if 1st timers. Snack and drinks are available.

This little gym packs a lot of routes in for its small size. There are a wide range of climbing difficulties suitable for all climbers. The facility is small and very popular, so it fills up fast! Also, this gym only has bouldering routes, no top rope or lead options. But, they do have a really cool moon board!

Cool boulder-only gym. Kind of small, but great problems. Look on Groupon for small deals. Has parking lot.

Not beginner friendly! I'm beginner/intermediate and can do most V2 routes, and some V3. I couldn't do a single V2 here (it was pretty discouraging) and I think I saw one V0 and maybe 2-3 V1's. Even the V0 was a bit more complicated than other locations I've been to.I'll be sticking with the Upland location until I am good enough to join the big boys here. There was a climber/employee who was updating a route while joining in with a group of experienced climbers. Makes me think that this gym have unknowingly catered itself to more advanced people. All the rocks were pretty worn in and you can tell because there's so much chalk residue and they're not grippy. Seems like this location takes awhile to change up their routes.

All bouldering, really fun. Recently achieved my first v5 here, nice place too, and could be good for anyone of all levels; with practice

Great Hangar 18 Climbing location. I really liked this Hangar 18 location. It is very spacious and clean. I also noticed that this one was very well-ventilated and didn't feel stuffy at all inside! The staff here is so friendly and I really enjoyed my experience here. It is good to note that this Hangar 18 is for Bouldering ONLY (i.e. no use of harnesses as you are only 10-12ft. off of the ground). The floor is all crash pads for when you fall. I personally enjoy bouldering a lot so I love that there are so many options. There are plenty of beginner friendly routes here too, so bring everyone!

Nice clean cozy bouldering gym. If you just want to work on bouldering, improving strength and some cool routes without too much extra amenities, this place is great to workout in.

I love all the Hangar 18 gyms! This one is bouldering only, which is great for me. It's so nice to have variety in the IE when it comes to climbing. Sometimes they have events, which is super fun. Their prices are so much better than other gyms in southern California. Right now, membership is only $36 a month! It's a terrific workout, and bouldering has helped get me in the best shape of my life. And... It's fun for big kids too.
