I stopped coming to this location. I'm a decent built guy I don't talk kaka about ppl who work out becAuse thats why they are there. Staff makes fun and take pics of customers who are heavy set or look wierd. Not nice for a gym staff to do. Beware if your picture turns up online.

I went into Planet Fitness gym on 5th St. Highway on Sunday evening 7/29/18 at about 10 PM. There was a male janitor by the PF 360 area. He clearly saw me walk into the female locker room. About 30 secs later, I heard a door open from shower area and he entered the locker room without announcing himself. The sign was not at the door. I approached the girl at the desk and asked why he is allowed in there with women changing and showering. The girl said he is allowed and you are the 1st person to complain. I said well can you have him come out because I am uncomfortable with a strange man I'm there while I am changing and using the restroom. She said well let me get the sign that says he is in there. I said, well it's a bit late for that.I asked her again, but she refused to address him. I asked the guy if he could step out from the bathroom area so I could at least use the restroom and he refused to move. Terrible service when you pay to use facilities.Is this normal for male staff to be in there when women are changing and showering? The girl pretty much said you have to deal with it.. That is not safe and what happens if a woman gets raped or assaulted in the bathroom because you allow random men in there?!?

Literally only gym I've lost weight at. I lost about 45 pounds while working out there. I've been to LA, Golds, Colonial and while they're all clean, Planet is just as clean and on top of it it's affordable.I didn't have some bulky guy staring at me the entire time and then creepily walking over to me to try to help me with something I've already done before here. People just let you do your workout and that's it. I've also never had them try to sell me a trainer or anything extra. I love it.

Really updated, looks nice. Everyone is super friendly. However, I just wish the night staff was a little more attentive. When i originally got my membership, I did it online. When I went in nothing was explained to me. They literally scanned the card handed it to me and walked away. My third night there, there was some guys sitting at the little table with a small child. The child was running back and forth and playing on the tread mills and nobody said anything. Which I found super dangerous. I'm probably going to start doing mornings. The night staff just seems like they'll let anything go on or don't care.

No wifi to gym members no filtered water and no mirrors on the main floor wall just a very downgraded planet fitness. The worst planet fitness I've been too..

Heavily used place to work out. Locker rooms smell like the inside of my hockey bag mixed with a portapotty. Other than that staff is friendly plenty of equipment.

One word to describe this place, ghetto! You have the most evil and unfriendly staff in this facility. The manager is very rude, and with some serious attitude problem. While I was working out in this gym, the police were called on the manager because she assaulted the planet fitness member. It was the craziest thing i have ever seen.Avoid this place at all costs!

Called today because I wanted to change my location to Lancaster due to me moving. Online my account has a 0.00$ past due amount but when I go to try to transfer my account online it says its not in good standing. So I called to see if anyone one would be able to assist me the girl attempts to help me then doesn't understand why it wont let me transfer then tells me to call on Saturday to talk to the manager what type of customer service is that where I cant get my issue solved in a timely matter.

I moved into town from Columbus Ohio. The PF gyms there were top line with New equipment, total body enhancement pods, wifi and great staff. When I first went to the Planet Fitness on 5th st Hwy in reading, Everything was old with a number of equipment out of order, a number of bathroom stalls also out of order. They did not have wifi. How do they expect you to listen to music without wifi???? The staff, especially the club manager Amber C. was so rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. I have never met someone who lacked professionalism and customers service. She is incompetent and not able to be a great example as a manager. She was so rude to my mother and I. As a black card member I refuse to go to that gym. LA fitness here I come!!!!!!!!!! I would rather get the LA fitness discount at the begining of the year and pay them $20 a month!!!! Pool and sauna!!!!!!!!

you pretty much get what you pay for, especially if you are on a budget. Honestly there are some cons and pros about this gym. i have visited so many other planet fitness, i was so amazed because there were so huge and have so many equipments, however this one ......pros... ..Cons...FRIENDLY STAFFS The roof leaks sometimeLOT OF TREADMILLS Not enough exercises' equipmentthe restrooms sometime stinkThis planet is good for first-time member, just like someone first time going to the gym. sometime i have to wait 10 minutes to use an equipment!!!!!!!!! i'm tired of waiting to use an equipment due to the fact that they only have one available or maybe two if you are lucky.overall, its a good place to work out and relieve some stress but like i say, you only get what you pay for.i call it the ghetto gym.. CHEAP, NOT ENOUGH EQUIPMENTS, ROOF IS LEAKING LIKE CRAZY, BUCKETS ALL OVER THE PLACE TO CATCH THE WATER FROM THE ROOF LOL.
