I am a Reno High grad and have used the gym to train for basketball and workout extensively in my three years at Reno High and during breaks in college for 2 years. I am well acquainted with Caughlin Club. Marlene is the owner and is the …

Be careful in the locker room. I almost fell several times. Workout machines don't get fixed. The steam room was out for months. There is no place to stretch. Don't get me started on marlene. When we cancelled in person, they said the manager would contact us. That was actually their way of not letting us cancel and getting two more months of our money . Don't waste your time and money. There are so many other gyms that are better

The tennis program and pros and the cafe staff are outstanding and friendly. 4.5 stars. The pool culture caters to the adults and squeaky wheels(forget and cross into lap lanes..you'll be screamed at..no exageration) and less tolerant of …

Horrible front desk service. After wasting our money here for a year they make it difficult to cancel your membership and insist cancellation be done in person. I would never recommend this facility. It is ancient and the old school "membership" practices restrictive and outdated. Bye bye!

This club is poorly managed. There are lots of events but the maintenance and upkeep lacks diligence. The locker rooms smell and locks , shower heads and lighting often go for weeks unfixed. It took months to fix one broken machine. Shade structures have lacked replacement covers since the beginning of hot weather when it was obvious there was a need to reorder during the previous winter. The management spends an inordinate amount of time putting up numerous signs haranguing about various infractions instead of attending to more important maintenance. The building exterior could use more upkeep. The lifeguard recently failed to intervene when a child was struggling after swallowing too much water because she wasn’t watching the swimmers closely enough. The parent had to intervene. Previous reviews about the rudeness of the manager are right on. There are other clubs in town that are friendlier and better run.

DONT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. The facility is overpriced and the workers are extremely rude such as Jared from the front desk. He is the least helpful and most rude person I know. Wouldn’t even give them one star if I could...

All health clubs have rules & policies including cancellation requirements. It is unfortunate that when those rules & policies are enforced, the people that don't want to follow them and feel they should be the exception to the rule or policy, have to bash the facility on social media.

The service at the front desk is extremely rude. I called to see how many people were playing basketball in the gym and they told me to come and find out yourself and hung up. Not only that but the equipment is not regularly cleaned and the basketball court is not maintained. It has multiple dead spots and is extremely slippery when you try to run. The membership is way to expensive for what trash you get.

I wouldn't even give them one star. AVOID this place at all costs! I had two months left on my membership contract which would have cost me $140 total and cancelled due to pregnancy and not able to work out without getting sick in March of …
