Crunch Fitness - Reno

My debit card expired and they charged me a late fee without prior contacting me with a voice mail regarding the situation. I found out about the issue by calling back a 1800 number to see who it is that called with no message. The gym itself is very nice, but they need to train people regarding situations like this.

The folks who work during the evening shift are always awesome! Friendly and welcoming! Cool spot!

Tried to cancel my membership they answered me 4 months later.. terrible Customer Service.I followed all the instructions to get out of my membership and they still refuse to cancel it and are trying to charge me with fees.

They need to replace the adjustable free weight bench pads as well as the pads on the flat bench presses. They're torn badly!

They make it impossible to cancel a membership. No one discussed the policies with me before I became a member. I was not told that there was a year contract. When I told the front desk I wanted to sign up, I stated that I wanted a month to month agreement.When time to cancel my membership, I had to go to the store 3+ times, called several times and email back and forth with the manager. It took over 4 months to cancel and I had to buy out of my year contract even though I never signed an agreement.

DO NOT COME HERE, THIS GYM WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!I recently had a terrible experience with Crunch Fitness located at 5353 Meadowood Mall Cir, Reno, NV 89502. I signed up for a month to month membership back in December but decided to cancel it in February. Despite giving a 30 day notice via email as requested in my gym membership contract they have refused to cancel it.It's been over two months now, and they still have not canceled my membership. I am extremely disappointed with their lack of customer service and their failure to honor my request and their own terms and conditions via gym contract to cancel my membership.I would strongly advise anyone considering joining Crunch Fitness at this location to think twice before doing so. If you ever need to cancel your membership, you will likely face the same difficulties that I did. This is not the type of service that I expect from a reputable fitness center.Overall, my experience with Crunch Fitness has been terrible, and I would not recommend this gym location to anyone. BEWARE!

Never will I give them another dime. Though I did everything accordingly as outlined on the contract when ending my membership they still kept an extra month's membership dues. When I attempted to get my money back they literally ignored all my communication attempts. Word of caution from someone who learned the hard way, never give them access to your bank account!

Watch your money. This gym stole over $250 from me for over a year. I have been trying to contact the manager for a year, and she never picks up. I canceled in December of 2021 because I was leaving Reno to fly to Chicago and start my trucking career. They never processed the cancelation and told me I had to come in the gym in person to cancel (again). I think they took advantage of me because I was an OTR TRUCK DRIVER. They later changed what they told me and said, "You had to send us an email to cancel," which I had already done. When I showed up in person, I had sent emails 6 months prior, and the manager's excuse was that she was too busy to see them. ABC Crunch Fitness even admitted that this was wrong and was trying to get my money back but were unsuccessful because they couldn't reach the manager either. They couldn't do anything because this gym in Reno has the final say with my money. This gym would be the one who would refund me my money. As a matter of fact, when I showed up and talked to the manager, she told me to give them even more money to cancel my membership. I've been to gyms all over the United States being a truck driver, and I never had issues like this. I was shocked and never expected this to ever happen to me, I was with them for 6 months with no problem until the cancelation. Crunch Fitness Reno really scammed me, and it made me look at this gym like it's the most desperate for money spineless coward who scams people of their money when they want to cancel. Thankfully, I'm not in desperate need of money and can live without this gym it's just disappointing that this gym would stoop this low.

Really good gym with lots of good equipment but…… it’s always over crowded and sometimes it’s nearly impossible to get to use some of their equipment. If they extended their hours a bit or opened 24 hours it would probably be perfect. Cleaning is subpar but it’s a gym I’m not going there to inspect how clean their toilets are I’m going there to bust a sweat.

Pretty amazing gym, everyone is friendly and the facility is kept clean. People are encouraging and they offer a lot of equipment required for the maximum available workout. Definitely a good place to visit, bringing a friend with you each visit is pretty awesome too.
