I’ve tried Pilates all over town and The Mill is hands down my favorite studio. It’s so welcoming and homey, but also every workout is killer, every time without fail! All the teachers are well educated, give hands on corrections, and everyone wants to see you succeed. I feel so lucky to have The Mill in my life!

If you’re looking for the way to get back in touch with your body - and have limited time (45 minute classes? Chefs kiss) but need routine - this is it.Every class is different and targets different muscle groups, including the ones you didn't even know existed - even your ego gets worked some classes. Who knew. With only eight reformer machines, you won't feel like you're in a crowded subway car or fighting for attention from the instructor. It’s not actually limiting in getting access to classes - when a class is full of a great eight it’s possible to blend in with the crowd or get that one on one attention. Really whatever Sonja’s feeling that day. Who knows, you might just become a Pilates convert like me. Go forth and be sore.

I have been going to The Mill since day 1 and I just keep coming back! The studio is the most beautiful and relaxing environment. You feel like you're entering a high end spa, but don't let the beauty fool you. You will leave class sweating and sore. The teachers are so knowledgeable and do such a great job with corrections to make your personal practice better while being your biggest cheerleader when you hit the right form. Whether you're a beginner or more advanced the teachers give variations to each exercise so everyone gets the workout they need. The community here is so welcoming and supportive of each other which is just the cherry on top.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Mill Pilates, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked through the doors, I felt a sense of tranquility and warmth. The Mill Pilates truly lives up to its reputation as a haven for Pilates enthusiasts. The studio itself is thoughtfully designed with spacious, well-lit rooms and a calming ambiance. The equipment is top-notch, maintained meticulously, and offers a wide variety of options for different levels of expertise. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced practitioner, The Mill Pilates has something for everyone. What sets this place apart, however, is the incredibly knowledgeable and passionate instructors. They are not only experts in their craft but also genuinely invested in the well-being and progress of each individual. They take the time to understand your goals, physical limitations, and tailor the sessions accordingly. Their attention to detail and ability to provide personalized guidance truly elevate the Pilates experience. The classes at The Mill Pilates are engaging, challenging, and incredibly effective. I've noticed significant improvements in my strength, flexibility, and overall posture since I started attending. The instructors seamlessly blend traditional Pilates techniques with modern variations, making the sessions dynamic and enjoyable.Disclaimer: This review is based on my personal experience and opinion. I simultaneously want to tell everyone I know about The Mill and tell NO ONE about it so I can have it all to myself!! It has been a while since I found a studio that checks all the boxes for me, but this is IT. GORGEOUS space, small class sizes, 45 minute workouts, and good range of class times! I happen to work a block away so I go on my lunch break. After a month of going 3-4 times a week I am already starting to feel stronger and more balanced. All the instructors really know what they’re doing— they help make sure my form is correct to maximize my work while protecting my joints. Don’t hesitate: Do the one-month trial and see if it works for you.

I have now been going to the Mill for 8 months, and I feel like I can properly leave a honest review. I am a very active person; I hike, mountain bike, run, snowboard, split board, the list of hobbies goes on. I always assumed that my level of activity was enough for my body. I've had injuries, compensation, ongoing aches and pains.. everything that comes along with being very active.Since starting pilates and barre, I've become a stronger, balanced, and more flexible athlete. My core strength is stronger than ever. My glutes are finally firing the way that they should. Hip flexor pain has disappeared. My old rotator cuff injury is finally feeling strong, with very little compensation. The list of benefits goes on.The classes here are interesting, varied, and challenging. The teachers are wonderful, and very focused on posture and form. The vibe of the studio is the cherry on top. So many wonderful humans supporting each other with the same goal to feel their best.I love coming to this beautiful studio, and will continue to come to nurture my body to continue doing what I love most.

I’ve been coming to The Mill Barre + Pilates for 6 months and every single class has been different and challenging. Each instructor has their own style but I know I will always get an incredible workout no matter what. I’ve recently started taking mostly barre classes and I’ve seen such positive changes not only in my body but mentally as well. The studio is gorgeous and I love the small class sizes. It feels like you’re getting a private lesson because the instructors are able to offer adjustment suggestions throughout the class and it really helps you stay engaged.

The Mill Barre & Pilates is incredible on so many levels. Classes are perfectly challenging but not intimidating. The space is absolutely dreamy, aesthetically speaking, and the owner Sonja is beyond kind (and hilarious). Also I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention that that music is always fantastic in class.
