North Stars came as a recommendation to us, and unfortunately we did not have a good experience. We signed up for a beginner toddler class over the summer and experienced very large classes with only 2 instructors most Saturday mornings. It’s hard for anyone to supervise that many kids. I thought it was just me feeling like our daughter wasn’t learning anything due to the lack of supervision, but I was validated when a family member attended a class and asked how our child was “invisible to the teacher”. Instructors were low energy and came across as bored and unenthused with the young kids.To top it off, when I asked how many weeks long the class we signed up for was, we were misinformed and then accused of not paying enough. Very unorganized enrollment status and billing. I’m offended that when I asked details about payment, I was dismissed. Just finished up a pretty unpleasant phone call which ended with them hanging up on me because I told them we were not interested in signing up for the next session. She was very much not interested in hearing our feedback either. They may be good with the older kids. They also need to clean and renovate the facility. The place smells like stinky wet sneakers!

1. Unkept Gym.. ripped mats, crumbling foam and stuff piles everywhere.2. 4/5yrs taught by a instructor who just did not seem to care, was not engaging and my kids lost interest. Also, she could not control the class of 5 kids. The kids were running everywhere! She started class late and ended it early often.3. A lot the gym area was in a loft space which was suppose to be on a video feed so the parents could watch. The feed never worked.4. I gave them a 30 day notices to cancel but they continue to charge my card. They stated they didn’t get a cancellation notice. So they are doing shady things to keep your money after you leave. Not the best business practices.

This gym is by far one the best places I could have taken my kids! We joined in June of 2019 and still going strong. The training is exceptional and you feel part of a family there. My youngest daughter was 6 when she started, and it was her first time ever competing. She started competing Xcel Silver and now training for level 7! It’s super exciting to see the growth right before your eyes! My now 11 year old had just finished competing level 4 when we moved to this gym and she was 8. She just finished competing level 9 and now training for level 10. We couldn’t be more happier! I definitely recommend this gym to anyone I meet looking for a great place for their child or children. We LOVE IT!!! ❤️

Our 6 year-old did a trial class this past Saturday (3/3/18) and we were completed repulsed by the entire facility for several reasons: (1) The lady running the front desk was way too pushy. We told her up-front that we were just doing a 1-day trial of the beginner class, and she tried to get us to immediately enroll as monthly members. When I told her no, she said, "Ok, just tell me your final answer after today's trial is over." Again, no. I have every right to 'shop around' at different gyms until we find the right one... (2) Our daughter has minimal prior experience, which only includes cartwheels, handstands, front-facing rolls, etc. Well, her coach (a male) told them to do a backwards roll, which she has never done before. She told him she didn't know how to do it, so he just lifted her legs and rolled her over backwards ON HER NECK. She immediately started crying because it hurt (naturally), and he said just to shake it off and do some handstands instead. REALLY? You have a beginner telling you that she doesn't know how to do something and you're just going to toss her over without teaching proper technique??? I couldn't believe it. Not only did he not listen to my daughter's concerns, but he also could have severely injured her... (3) The gym smelled horrendous. I understand that gyms have a certain aroma from the equipment, the athletes being barefoot, etc., but this is the worst-smelling gym I have ever entered (and I grew up playing many different sports, so I've been in several over my lifetime)... So, if you value your child's health and safety, DO NOT SEND THEM TO THIS GYM.
