It's like having your own gym to yourself. It is a tad more expensive than the overcrowded, slammed packed gyms. But you get quality and a comfortable place to work out. Beats working out with sweaty creepers all around. Recommended.

Clean, well-equipped. Amazing staff.A couple things to consider. It's about 50% more expensive than the other gyms in town, but they restrict membership numbers. Also - the hours are much shorter than other gyms. If you have to get to work early like me, you won't be able to get much of a morning workout in.And weekend hours are pretty restricted as well. Don't go to a matinee and then workout - the place will be closing.I happen to be disabled and that was a major reason I chose this gym. It's very accessible with pool lifts and many accommodations. However, this is not your private gym. If you are disabled and need to use the accessible facilities, be prepared for other members who do not clean up after themselves and who do not know how to make sure the transfer bench is dry and wiped off. You know how it is. Non-disabled people think the bench is a soap dish, so it gets slippery, and they tend to splash water around. Just be aware. The cleaning staff is good, but they may not get to this type of thing more than a couple times a day.This is a great place to workout!

This is the newest "physical therapy" and fitness location for the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula. The physical therapy and fitness sections are devoted areas so you won't be trying to do physical therapy with the fitness gurus and vice versa.

Pros:-Immaculate (hospital level of cleanliness)-Quiet (no stupid music)-Membership cap-Pool and hot pool clean and really nice-Equipment is sufficient and appears well maintainedCons:-Hours (Closes at 4:00 PM on weekends)-Price is $20 to $30 more expensive than most gyms-No Kettlebells
