Eliza is what’s up! I’ve only done 1 one-on-one with her, and it was a hard workout and it was nice to learn some proper swings, with the conditioning - but mostly, Eliza is an amazing, beautiful, and intense human being.I could trust her and tell her about my PTSD and WHY I wanted to learn this form of self defense, my background, etc. We even did a lil spiritual reading after the session.I immediately signed up for a set of classes but couldn’t follow through for personal reasons (yet). So I told her I can’t. She totally understood. She hooked me up with some gloves and wraps, and I’m really looking forward to going back.I can’t wait to train soon when I am healed up! See you soon!! 🩵🩵🩵

This place is rigorous. However, it is really fun! The wonderful host, Eliza, is really cool, she's polite and is willing to work with you. Not change you to be like any other boxer. If you're thinking of boxing, I strongly suggest coming here.

I have been coming to BIFG for a year and a half. My initial motivation was to get stronger as I had begun a new career and felt that I needed to be better prepared for it physically.Eliza's skilled training has helped prepare me physically, as she promised, but also in many other ways that I didn't expect. She has a unique way of creating a safe environment where everybody feels challenged and encouraged to tackle a workout or any other life challenge.Jessie completes the experience with her friendly support and knowledgeable contributions.I do not see myself ever leaving. Truly the best place I could have found.

I almost never write negative reviews, but I was so shocked by my experience I had to. We did a drop in class at boxing for girls. I had done a small amount of kickboxing before but nothing serious so I was hoping for some instruction and guidance to the class. We got none of that. The owner and instructors seemed annoyed that we were there and didn't even seem like they wanted to be there. They were actually straight up rude to me, but I was willing to let it go for a good class. We did about 25% actual boxing with little to no explanation of technique. The rest of the class was just doing basic workouts (squats, pushups, burpees etc.) for 20 sec on 10 sec off. I looked around and most of the girls did not have good form and the reps were just too much that they were just stopping half way. I was seriously concerned that someone would get hurt because the instructors were not even bothering to explain how to do the exercises properly. Again, the instructors seemed completely uninterested in being there. I am honestly shocked they get anyone to even go there for $30 a class. In contrast I went to an intro Jui-Jitsu class and they were soooo welcoming and really took the time to explain everything. I would stay well away from this place and find somewhere different for boxing or try a different activity.

I highly recommend Boxing Is For Girls. A male friend who had moved away from Salt Lake City recommended the gym to me after I mentioned that I was looking for a boxing gym for my teenage daughter. I signed her up for the boxing classes and I ended up signing up for personal training classes. I'm in the best shape of my life and everyone around me sees it. The owner is amazing. She caters not only to your physical but your mental well-being as well. She is amazing. I have recommended her to my friends who have also signed up for multiple sessions with her.

I've been around many gyms. I've owned gyms. I have also been a LULU ambassador for many years and visited many different gyms. Eliza is nothing short of remarkable. Not just as a practitioner and trainer, but as a coach. She is deeply invested in all aspects of the person, and not just how they move. She is authentic and she cares. This business is far beyond transactional. She feels your success and will provide a safe and comfortable place to flourish.

When I started boxing I had no real goals, didn’t want to know my weight or focus on what I expected after 8 weeks. Curious, open, wanting to find some strength. Prior to boxing, going down on a walk in the aves was easy, but coming back up for me… well I could barely make it up a few streets, then I could do seven aves, and now, I’ve started walking down into the city and back. I’ve become obsessed with walking. It’s still hard, but now I stick with it. I felt hopeless when it came to my body, never really sticking to anything. My body is changing, which is great, but it’s what’s changed inside that I love the most! Just signed up for 8 more weeks of coaching, and am open and curious to see what transforms!

I love Boxing is For Girls. Eliza has really helped me with personal training. I am the strongest I have ever been. I have lost about 20 lbs so far and I feel great. Everybody who I have met at BIFG has been welcoming and supportive. I love that it is a place where I can work on my fitness goals and have a community.
