YMCAs are your best gym value without the contract risks of for-profit gyms -- and all of the East Valley Ys have pools. SB-Y has seen better days but the staff goes out of their way to welcome you. The decor is a bit dated but it's clean and serviceable, even if it's a bit chaotic. You won't have to wait to use machines here, it's never very busy. The pool is great and they have lots of classes. The main problem with SB-Y is the limited hours. Your best bet is the Associate Membership which gives you access to all 3 East Valley Ys, including the Redlands location, which has the most amenities. But if you're looking for a gym membership on a budget, SB-Y is a good choice. This Y has a community meeting room/classroom that members can rent. Seats about 16.

I do not recommend the San Bernardino YMCA.This is one of the worst YMCA's I've ever been too. It's so ran down and in desperate need of many upgrades.
