Well, to sum up everything about this business. He flys fast and loose. Did you know he doesn’t care about safety? That’s right folks. He doesn’t want to hear how to be safe and that shows he doesn’t care about you or your family. It’s unfortunate when you try to guide someone in the right direction and due to their lack of care they take their negativity out on you and your business. We do things safe and right. This person certainly does not care about safety. I would be very very cautious dealing with this particular person. He has a lot of negative energy and wants to take it out on others(check his recent reviews seems like a bad time in his life) . If you’d like some help to be reliable and safe let us know. I know you’re in a tough financial situation as you stated over the phone but we’re here to help you. We want you to succeed. If you don’t want to succeed we can’t help you. Again, let us know if we can help. Do it right and once. Have a blessed day.

I will start this off by saying that I used to be a very athletic person, but I haven't been for a number of years now. After consistently attending an online HIIT class over the past 18 months, I felt confident I could try something new. I did some fitness boxing years back and remembered that I enjoyed it.Hesitant about health implications of training indoors in a not-well ventilated environment, I tried out a fitness boxing gym and did not like it. The party atmosphere wasn't for me, I wanted to learn new skills which for me included instruction on technique and not just getting to sweat. Then I tried American Boxing. The idea of training outside on the Bay was promising. Dave called me after my initial email to explain his training approach and learn about my physical situation. I used the generous first week offer and tried two classes. I was hooked immediately. Training with Dave is hard and challenging. It is also highly addictive. I always walk away with renewed energy and pride of what I have done. People in class have been amazingly supportive of a beginners like me, while also helping me push myself. My goals have evolved from general fitness and losing weight to yes, still losing weight but also supporting my body and mind from a new perspective. I am living with high breast cancer risk and this class and Dave's responsiveness outside of class, have supported me in many more ways than I expected. Boxing has done wonders for my mental health!

I've been training at American Boxing for a few months now. Always a good workout everytime I go. Coach Dave gives good instructions and they're spot on! Everybody in the class is really nice and welcoming.

My 11 year old daughter has been attending class for a little over a week now and we love it. I searched for something that would not only teach her self defense, but build her confidence while also teaching her discipline and hard work. This was exactly what she needed. She's learning commitment and to not give up when something is difficult. Her confidence had already improved. The classes are fun while still teaching core values. I can't wait to see the changes to come. I would recommend to any parent.

Incredible coach. Dave’s credentials speak for themself. The man is a martial arts master. He has trained with all sorts of pro fighters around the world. He’ll show you unconventional techniques! I learned a lot from my 1 on 1 with Dave. He was very welcoming and let me pick what I wanted to learn. Dave fought a lot as a southpaw so he gave me a ton of useful advice. What a memorable session. I’d recommend him!

Training with coach Dave Nielsen at American Boxing Muay Thai & Fitness has been an extremely satisfying experience. In three months I have learned a wealth of practical striking technique and principles for boxing and Muay Thai. This is great as I joined the gym with the aim to become a solid striker and to grow athletically. My current success is largely due to Dave’s coaching. I am always leaving class either accomplishing something I didn’t think I could handle yet, or failing to do so and learning a lot anyways. I also feel coach Dave is great at gradually introducing people to the grittier side of training and never thoughtlessly has you doing something you shouldn’t be doing at your level.Another great element is the people training at American Boxing Muay Thai & Fitness are always game, supportive, and ready to push. All told, I’m confident coach Dave can guide me in accomplishing my goals and am very glad I got started here.

Dave is an excellent trainer. I previously trained kickboxing for a year and a half but had to pause due to COVID shutdowns. I’m looking to get back into my rhythm that I had before everything shut down, and Dave is really good and helping me get there. He pushes you and give great insight into form and stance. Above all, it’s always a great workout! Thanks Dave!

Had an amazing workout! Love how coach Dave pushed and challenged us in a fun way! It is not only a fitness class but it is about learning the right technique in a professional way. This is exactly what I have been looking for. I had a serotonin rush after the training. Recommend it genuinely.

I have been boxing at American Boxing Muay Thai & Fitness for 4 years now and it's without a doubt the best workout experience and gym "relationship" I have ever had. I joined with zero boxing experience and wanted to try something new to stay in shape - what I got was not only consistent and incredible workouts, but also a new perspective on how to challenge my mind and body. Learning good boxing and muay thai form isn't easy, but as I started to develop the muscle memory around the technique, I became stronger and more confident. Being in better shape at 31 than you were at 21 is a pretty good feeling. This has now become a healthy addiction of me trying to push myself to reach that new personal bests and consistently be better than my previous session. Would HIGHLY recommend.

Trainer Dave is the person you want to workout with if you’re serious about losing weight. I’ve had the best time working out with him the past few months — even virtually during a pandemic. I’m amazed at the commitment, time, knowledge, and passion he has for his students/clients. Plus, learning some boxing moves has been so fun!!
