I am a visitor from abroad. I came into the gym on March 30 and signed up for the month of April and paid in full. Today they charged my card again even though I emailed them in writing that I’m putting in my 30 days notice on April 1.My other disappointment with this place is the lack of cleanliness and the terrible equipment dating back to the 1970s. I’ve been to gyms in the Soviet Union that have better equipment. Nobody re-racks their weights. No one picks up the towels scattered all over the gym and not a trainer in sight to help you find what you’re looking for. See pictures and don’t waste your money

BEST.GYM.EVER!!! I've been going to this gym since the day it opened, and it is by far the nicest and cleanest gym I've ever been too. They have a good variety of equipment, the staff is really friendly, and it's right on the beach! You can literally run on the treadmill or do a yoga class while looking out at the ocean, it's amazing. They have a cafe full of snacks so if you need a pre or post workout drink or something you can grab it right there. The locker room feels like a day spa, it's always really clean, big mirrors, hair dryers, lotion ... plus they have a sauna and steam room :)

This gym is the BEST. The facilities are absolutely amazing with treadmills/studio facing the ocean, tons of classes and steam room! The list really goes on. It’s definitely pricey compared to your run of the mill gym but for all the things you get, it’s a great deal… If you actually go lol. Aside from the gym itself, the staff are really wonderful. They always greet you when you come in and available to help. Specifically, just a few minutes ago one of the staff members Eric helped me fish out an air pod I stupidly dropped in a weird spot in the sauna. He is so friendly and helpful as well as the other staff and class teachers. I recommend this place to everyone so if you haven’t checked it out yet, definitely do- they have free day passes!

Absolutely love this gym. I’ve been a member since April 2021 and initially gravitated towards this location because they were very intentional in sanitizing all the equipment and making sure everything was wiped down. Additionally the gym was never too crowded and who doesn’t love a view of the beach each morning as they work out.It’s been almost a year and a half of going to this location and I can’t imagine going to any other gym. The manager Eric is really great and you can see this in the way the location is run and maintained! The front desk is also so kind and welcoming. Highly recommend for anyone that is looking for a new gym location.

In the Star Trek series an alien species called the borg are marauding the galaxy in search of perfection. if they came to this San Diego mission beach gym their search would have ended. I have been to 100s of gyms all over the world but this one outshines them all!
