Hands down, best gym in San Diego. I’ve been going here for a little over 2 years now and every month they upgrade the gym. Whether that is new equipment, class offerings or other services. This gym really has everything for every kind of person. From yoga studio & spin studio, serene stretching room, and every type of equipment you can think of. Basketball court, plenty of free weights, even aerial silks. They just recently added a cold plunge tub and hot tub with red light therapy and vibration plate, and their sauna is infrared! All the way down to the nice simple touches like chilled eucalyptus towels. Love it here!

As a former student to one of the schools nearby it was always great hitting the gym after school. PLSC is a great gym that offers nice general facilities as well as surprising features like the sauna, the cold plunge, the liquid IV and wellness center. The workout area and the locker room is very clean, organized and functional. Not only that, they also offer group workout classes! The price was the only con for me since I was looking for just a gym with a High-School-Student budget, but as it turns out PLSC was so much more than that and I ended up really enjoying it (plus I got a student discount for each month!). Thank you Point Loma Sports Club for everything!

I’m in San Diego every other month, and I love coming to this gym when I’m out here. It’s a 15-20 min drive from my place, but I make the drive because I know once I’m at PLSC I’ll feel better just being there. PLSC has everything you need in terms of equipment, space, helpful staff, etc. Love the versatility of options to move your body however you choose! Some highlights: stretch room, turf, half court, pole, aerial, cycling, boxing, the list goes on. I got a massage done here once which was also amazing and unlike any other massage I’d gotten before. Thank you to PLSC for giving me a great gym to workout at when I’m in SD, I so appreciate it!

I have been a member of this gym off and on since 2009, before it was Point Loma Sports Club and it was called Lava. I used to love this gym so much and unfortunately they have been become greedy and require $300 downpayment, plus $50 yearly fee, ON TOP of their $90-$118 monthly fee. That's right they want $550 just to rejoin this gym after putting on hold due to unforeseen life events ($300 initiation fee, $50 yearly fee, 1st and last month dues). After being a member for years, it is obvious that they no longer care about their members and are more interested in $$. Gary used to be so compassionate, cared about the members and always made me feel like family. Sadly, this gym has changed since Gary's passing, they no longer care if you have life circumstance where you have to put your membership on hold. Instead, they will cancel you, try to put your account into collections and then overcharge you if you want to rejoin.

Expansive space (two separate gyms in one), friendly staff, super clean, great equipment selection, and a variety of coordinated classes. I hesitate posting this review because I don't want it to get crowded but decided the establishment and staff deserved a great review.

The best gym and the best team! I love that they have an app where you can sign in for so many good classes + they have discounts with other partners at Liberty Station. The gym is huge and always clean, never too crowded. Kudos to Jessica on the management and to trainer Couron - he is so knowledgeable and really listen to your body, guiding you to the right movements based on your goals. I’m learning tons about body awareness and they keep me motivated to come back.

Eight years ago, I bid on a 30 day pass PLSC donated to the Warren-Walker School auction. Parents bid on donated items and it raises money. I never left! My sons were in 4 & 5 grade at the time and both have graduated high school. I'm still going to the PL Sports Club. Never crowded, never wait for machines, members and staff are courteous. I can't say enough nice things about it. I tore my knee and had to have surgery so I didn't go for about 10 months. They let me put my membership on hold for the months I couldn't use it and then just reactivated my account when I could return. That speaks volumes about who they are, what other gym would do that? You get what you pay for, they aren't cheap but they are the best.

Point Loma Sports Club is amazing! Super friendly! This review is not for PLSC, but for who practiced at their location.Defined Body and WellnessSarah's current address is here.Sarah no longer practices at this location but, this is the business address for her current Google listing. Her actual address is 2321 Morena Blvd, Ste M, San Diego.Do not do business with her! I was medically advised that her services would not help me. She is refusing to refund my last 2 services.

Switched over to PLSC from Fit, best decision ever. Great staff (Brian is awesome); amazing facilities and location in Liberty Station; never crowded s as bd ample parking at all times of the day; upscale and clean; near grocery stores, coffee and cafes. Worth the investment.
