Good gym if you're in the University Heights area, don't wanna spend too much, and know what you're doing in the gym already. They have all the equipment you need but some of it is kind of janky so I wouldn't recommend it to beginners. Most of the weight plates are mismatched and never put back in any order so it can make things overwhelming for someone who's new to the gym. Also quite a few bros on the sauce so it can be a bit intimidating depending on the time of day. But overall pretty chill. It's pretty good for barbell and dumbbell work, even for very strong people. Pretty good plate loaded machines as well. There's lots of nice leg equipment in the cake factory room but it's off limits to normal gym users. Would be nice to replace the first generation hip thruster on the main gym floor at least. No AC but that's pretty standard for gyms in San Diego and keeps it from getting too packed in the summer in my opinion.

For $22 bucks a month, this gym is great. Plenty of equipment, respectful staff, relatively clean, and airflow isn't bad. Stop complaining and start working out y'all. 💪🏼 …

Absolutely love this spot! It’s never too packed, great choice of machines and spacious environment. I personally love the outside area when I want to be lowkey (lol) + they offer personal training classes too!

Best gym in all of San Diego! I can’t tell you how wonderful the people are here, when I first started my fitness journey I had no clue how to do certain exercises and I could just ask anyone here and they’d just drop what they were doing and show me. Few years later, we would come in and drop personal records on lifts! I wouldn’t be where I am without the people and the spirit of this gym. If you’re reading this Sean, you’ve made this not only an awesome place to workout, but a wonderful community in Northpark San Diego! Much love!

Went in on a day pass and the front desk attendant told me there was no foam roller for public use and I had to have brought my own. A lot of thr equipment was is in very poor conditioned. Two of the trainers also were disrespectful. One was upset that I was using a machine he wanted to use even though I offered him and his client to work in. Another trainer came up to me and stared at me while circling the machine I was on and shaking his head. Wasn't worth the $15 price for the guest pass.To add after the owner responded. Multiple of the machines don't work well and telling the trainer that him and his client could work in with me isn't rude. You need to take ownership for your gym and not yell at every bad review.

OWNER DISRESPECTFUL AND ON POWER TRIP. Paid $15 for one day pass, first time there enjoy the equipment and the rest of the staff. Wanted to buy a drink, told me they only accept Venmo, but both an employee and manager said they’d accept cash this one time. Owner then refused cash and used the F word on me while raising his voice. At least they had the courtesy to give me a refund. This behavior is unacceptable, and I have never experienced at any other gym. 0/5 stars if I could.Edit: I'm returning to my post after your response and have to say it does not surprise me one bit. You continue to make a mockery of yourself and prove everything I say right through your words and actions. Your use of curse words and accusation of me being childish is only a projection of your own insecurity and childishness. employee said "You know you really should have Venmo" to which I replied "respectfully, you shouldn't tell me what to have". If you think that's being an A hole, what a sensitive little man are you.
