I've been going to this gym for about a year, and decided to throw this review out as an update now that it's moved to a new, larger space. The short version is that I agree with many of the positive comments here, and while there is more room in the new place it has not really changed the small gym culture. The diversity of people who work out there - there is a good spread with regard to age, gender, etc. - has I think prevented a gymbro culture or any particular dominant vibe from taking over. People are considerate, as you have to be to get by in a small gym; anybody who throws weights around or screams will tend to stand out and quickly adjust their behavior or find a different gym that better suits their taste.I would also add that while it really is quiet at some times, as some other reviewers have suggested, it really depends on what time you go in. If you prefer to have people around to stay motivated, as I did when I was younger, you can go in during certain peak hours and reliably find enough people there. So you can really adjust the experience to what you are personally comfortable with, which is something I appreciate.

Edited post: Keith has moved to 1st avenue a much bigger space with plenty of equipment, an outside space and changing rooms. This guy is going place and I wish him all the best in the future!I'm new here but so far so good. Plenty of weight machines to utilize as well as cardio equipment. Focus is on weight training I would say.

Prime fitness has everything you need and more! The best part about the gym is the 24 hr access and how quiet it is. Truly the complete opposite of the 24 hour fitness type places out there. I have never been in there with more than one other person (and usually I get the whole gym to myself!) Highly recommend to anyone who doesn't want to fight over a squat rack or dumbbells!

Despite the small space, the gym itself is quiet and rarely crowded. 24 hour access is nice. Nothing fancy but everything you need. Only issue I had was with the policy around propping the door open when it’s hot.I arrived to the gym where the temp was around 80 degrees and the fans were off. It was just myself on a Sat afternoon so I decided to kick on the fans and prop one door open to allow for airflow since you’re not allowed to change the AC setting.Toward the end of my workout, the owner came in and asked about the door. I told him what I did and he preceded to tell me that my membership was revoked because the door isn’t allowed to be open unless he’s there. He stated it’s because anyone can just walk in, which I understand but was shocked at how after explains how hot the temp was when I came in the hour before, he simply said “well the temp is at 72 now, I can’t imagine that it cooled off that much after you opened the door”.I knew it was pointless to drive my point across with that attitude and handed in my fob. Wonder how things will get in the summer time if someone decides to workout when he’s not there, do they just suffer through it? Ridiculous policy

This is a real gym. A little cramp but worth every penny. This is the gym dream of a personal trainer who is kind enough to allow the public to use his facility at all hours with the rules of being honest, clean and respectful. Seems easy but other gyms lack every one of those common sense type behaviors.

Love this gym. Mostly empty and has normal people working towards their goals and Keith is the best kind of gym owner. 10 out of 10 recommend!

A safe supportive Place. A community, They look out for each other, lift Each other. I started working out to lose weight , I lost 65lbs of fat inspired by Celebrity Icons Pamela Anderson from #Baywatch and film Icon ArnoldSchwarzenegger. I wanted to continue on My fitness Journey, and I was embraced and Pumped Up. There is nothing but love and Education, here. 🌈🦵🏋️💪❤️‍🔥💦
