Gorgeous gym that has everything you need. The front desk guy is a gem. However, I wish I had known it was a “content gym.” It can be incredibly frustrating to navigate camera set ups and next to impossible if you don’t want to be in someone’s shot. 😅 I have had a few annoying experiences, such as people asking to work in and then changing the handle and taking a few shots and walking away, or asking to switch machines because one had better lighting. You also need to be aware it’s SLAMMED pretty much all day except 8-10, and you may need to adapt your program if you go outside those hours, but it’s well priced and a great place for early 20s fitness influences to be with their peers. It’s a huge culture shock for anyone raised in an old school gym environment— if you’re looking to just “get in and get out”, I would suggest Grinder down the street which has far more equipment, but lacks an Insta aesthetic.

My girlfriend and I were vacationing in San Diego, and a friend recommended Th Compound Lifting club. I am so glad he did. We had planned on going to a few different gyms but fell in love with this one.First and foremost the staff is incredible! Very knowledgeable and friendly, recommending machines and equipment I had never used before. It seems like everyone really enjoys working there. The equipment is top notch. A lot of Panatta, and Arsenal, and plenty of weight. To top it off this was probably the cleanest gym I’ve ever seen, and the posing room is pretty sick too. Wish I could give them 10 stars.

Was in town for the weekend, had a friend that recommended this gym very clean well put together gym. The vibe was set to 100 and honestly didn’t need any headphones because they played some of the best music I’ve ever been to in the gym. If I lived in San Diego, this is where I would have a membership. Friendly staff.

The best gym my partner and I have ever been to and we drop in all over the country.Marshall was super friendly and welcoming. He explained the equipment and suggested some new machines that were top tier - and even gave some killer dinner recommendations post lift.We typically like to try a different gym every day we are out of town but will be back tomorrow!

Smaller footprint than TG but great equipment selection so there’s very little waiting even when it gets busier. Well maintained equipment, no ripped seams or scuffs. Friendly atmosphere with other lifters. Great ventilation. Staff are super helpful.

Fantastic gym, you can tell the owners care about the place. High quality equipment, great facility, parking, etc. No complaints. Well worth the price.

If you don’t mind having influencers setting up cameras, this gym is perfect. The weight/machines are always so well organized and maintained. There is a pretty good flow and with weight redundancy, you rarely have to wait for equipment. There is a lot of love put into this gym.

Just did a day pass! Plenty of space and great gym. So so clean but full of influencers and cameras so if you’re looking to not get caught in someone’s video goodluck!

This gym is the BEST gym in San Diego. It offers equipment and an environment that welcomes and motivates every walk of life. If you visit on a day that the owners are present, they will give you a tour and explain the journey and reasoning behind their Iron Masterpiece. By the end of your tour/workout, if you haven't fallen in love with the energy and pump you just got, you will for sure get some love from Rambo their frenchie. :)

Nice and clean, tad pricey but the equipment doesn’t pay for itself. Looks like they will be adding on more feature in the future. Lots of equipment and parking
