Anytime Fitness

I met the owner of the gym, Matt, gotta appreciate a guy who takes time to speak to guests in the facility and know everyone that walks in. The place always looks in great shape every time you’re there, clean bathrooms, friendly staff, everything you could ask for.

I have belonged to many gyms & San Leandro AF Fitness is by far the Champion! Let me tell you why...The gym has everything you need & more. Premiere cardio machines & a multitude of them. I have never had to wait to use a machine. Extensive free weights always organized. The weight machines are excellent & up to date as well. There is also a functional training zone with PRX equipment, kettlebells, ropes, all the goodies. Everything is top of the line.The space is always immaculate. Matt the manager clearly is dedicated to keeping the space pristine for the members. 3 bathrooms, 2 showers, 24/7, helpful staff, classes, personal training. The members are all respectful & kind. The vibe is perfect here.

I've been a member of a lot gyms but this by far is my favorite. The floors, bathroom, and equipment are always clean, and there is no sweaty gym smell when you first walk in. It is a good size and doesn't get crowded. I like to go very early in the morning, but when I have gone after work, it wasn't overwhelming with people. I am so glad to be a part of this gym.

This gym is great! I started coming here after working 12 hour shifts, and it is a great way to relieve some stress and get some exercise into my schedule. The machines and equipment are new, and they are kept up to date with maintenance. I have yet to run into any problems with the equipment provided. There are sanitizing towels throughout the gym that you can use to wipe down any equipment that you use, to help promote cleanliness. However, the gym itself is quite small, and during peak hours, it might be a challenge to get to the equipment that you want to use for your workout. There is something to use for every workout, so even if the machine or equipment that you wanted to use is occupied, you can always choose something else. I have never had a problem trying to find equipment to use, because I plan my workout ahead of time. There are private restrooms and showers, which are great. My experience so far has been exceptional, and I look forward to my workouts now.
