We’re really glad that we found SDBJJ. Sensei Fernando, Sensei Wes and the team here are fantastic. We enrolled our little guy and they are super patient with him while teaching structure and respect you’d expect in a martial art. He loves going to his classes!! They are organized, great instructors, and genuinely engage with their students. As a business owner myself, I know how difficult it is to consistently provide this level of service, and they work hard to make it happen. We highly recommend them!!

Have been going here for a few months now with my family and we absolutely love it. They have a family plan too, so for one low price a month my wife, myself and 2 boys come train here. The best part about the membership is you can go everyday if you want. The value is incredible.The instructors here are really good, especially with my two boys (5 and 3). They're extremely patient and the boys always leave every class feeling very proud about themselves. Our family health (cardio and muscle development) is a fantastic benefit to see from us going. There's a sweet gem for parents too...while my kids are training, I can workout at the same time. It's perfect.The main Sensei Paulo is literally a world class fighter. There is no reason to go to any other gym.

My family absolutely loves this place. We just moved to this state in July and This is the first time my son has ever express interest in jujitsu and has truly thrived because of his instructors. The owner and his wife are very sincere people. The instructors take their time to ensure that my child accomplishes the moves they have been shown and encourages the kids also. Even the parents at this facility are wonderful. Communication between instructors, kids and parents is wonderful. I couldn’t ask for a better experience!

Paulo, Adam, and Walter run a family oriented organization that help both my daughters thrive in the gym, and their day to lives. Thank you SDBJJ for all that you do!

This is one of the best places in California to train martial arts exactly judo And jiu jitsu.His head coach mr. Paulo is awesome kind person respectfull, And very prepared.100% recommended to anyone

SDBJJ is hands down a top notch school. The training you receive is first class but to me the best thing about SDBJJ is the family atmosphere, that makes the school number 1.

I have been here for a little over 2 years now and plan to stay for as long as I'm in California. Stay and you will have a second family. The people are awesome, the teachers are awesome, the equipment, are clean. 10/10 would recommend.

The gym is great I bring my kids here for over 2 years they are doing an amazing job, sensei's are super experienced and I can't say enough good things about this place. Perfect place to push your limits! We love it.

This place has litterally changed my life, although I am an employee here, I was not always one. I started here in 2005 as a 19 year old student who was interested in martial arts classes. Through this place I have had many mentors and received solid advice from the many great people who were part of this family over the years. Through the support of people like this I was able to achieve things in my life that I didnt think I was capable of.
