I’ve been at big mountain barbell for about 6 months now, and haven’t regretted coming here once. Having such great equipment that is almost always available is awesome. Even better in my mind though, is the culture. Great people, who aren’t there to be seen, but to work hard and achieve their goals.

Competition level equipment, great environment and even greater people (also worth mentioning that it’s a 24 hour facility). The owners truly care about its members and constantly look into enhancing that experience, whether its investing into high end equipment, renovating, etc. If you’re ever in the area or just traveling through, I definitely recommend checking it out (the vibes are quite rad 🤙).

Since my first interaction with BMB in 2018, I've found a shared sense of comradry with the athletes, weight lifters and gym enthusiasts of all levels. Originally, I joined their Fitbliss program to learn how to build my strength, learn about nutrition, and how to holistically approach my health and fitness journey. Fast forward to 2020, and they are hands down the most hygenic and considerate gym in Utah. I'm proud that BMB is all accepting of all body types, people and prioritize our health.

My usual gym at the U closed due to Covid 19 so I decided to join BMB because I had been taking some Drip Sweat Boxing classes there. I was a little nervous because being a woman of color I always wonder if the space is inclusive. I was immediately greeted by Lindsay and Zac and welcomed to the spacious gym by their message and actions of inclusiveness. I am fairly new to the the fitness world and the energy and resources at BMB allows me to grow and gain. Everyone there is always willing to answer my questions (even the dumb ones lol) and help out. The multiple squat racks are pretty free. It is kinda pricey for my graduate student budget but really....my health and wellness are priceless and I am grateful for BMB.

I've been to many a gym. Never have I seen a gym with so many nice barbells and so much room for Olympic and power lifts. And a local business and family friendly. Just gotta watch out for the loud babies yelling to get out and get in on the lifting.

Gym looking for handouts. Stole three months worth of membership from me by not allowing my to freeze my account but shutting gym doors a week after I signed up. Then, tried to steal more money after the three months by saving my card which was unauthorized.Go to Iron or ANY other gym in the area, this private gym has a lot to learn about business and relationships. Planet fitness has a less toxic gym environment. Mostly a place for THOTs and SIMPs.I also witnessed the trainers teaching incredibly inaccurate technique which was horrifying. Good luck with back injuries, clients! ✌Also note: during COVID, begged people for handouts then remodeled their gym unnecessarily and went on holidays. Really needed the cash.

This is the best gym I've ever been to! It's rarely crowded, always clean, and fun atmosphere. It also has all of the equipment needed for a great workout and they are always making improvements.

BMB is one of the best gyms I’ve ever been to! The staff is very knowledgeable and welcoming and they have tons of equipment/squat racks/deadlifting pads. I was also very impressed with how they handled COVID circumstances- they gave people the option to rent out equipment or freeze their memberships and were extremely accommodating! Thanks for being great BMB!
