Visiting from Arcata CA. As a newer no gi practitioner with a bit of experience with the gi.. I've found the 10th planet monster squad costa mesa to be super inviting, chill and incredibly skilled. I found all body types and skill levels to train with, and found that everyone was a pleasure to work with, even the monsters! This will be my new huntington beach home, since I will be here maybe once or twice a year to visit family. 10/10

I've trained at a bunch of different academies over the years and 10th Planet CM has been my favorite. The instruction is top notch, and there is a sense of community and openness here that is so hard to find. You'll feel like you're at your home away from home after your first class. There are always a range of people training from those with only a few weeks to those with a few decades, so no matter what your skill level you will always improve in a friendly environment.

It's been 2.5 years now that I've been training with the 10th Planet Monstersquad, and I'm hooked. With such a welcoming and awesome group of people, this place is like a family. The coaches are super dedicated and it shows in the love they give to their students and business. The monsterquad has room for every level of Jiu Jitsu, from a first time beginner to high level competitive jiu jitsu, there is something for everyone.If your in the area and thinking of joining a jiu jitsu school, I highly recommend checking out the 10th Planet Monstersquad!

Visited this gym while traveling for work. Of all the schools I have trained at the instruction here has been the best. You will learn more than the "move of the day". The head coach does a great job explaining the concepts of grappling and how they are applied in a particular technique. If you are looking for a school this place is a must visit.

My 2 kids (ages 5 and 6) and I both train here and we love it. The instructors have great attention to detail and are patient with the kids, yet hold them accountable. They correct small nuances that make big differences in their game. Everyone is always so nice here, too, and made us all feel welcome, and they continue to as we grow.

The 10th Planet System is a work of art and it's Coaches are superb. Professor Ruben Rivera is a blackbelt who understands that everyone has different needs because everyone's body is different. He goes into great detail when explaining a technique, always takes questions and makes you feel welcome. Mr. Matt Salinas and Mr. Brandon Tran are also excellent at what they do, from fitness to competition classes, they are always ready to help you level up your game. Try out a free class here and you'll be hooked. They are also moving location soon and I'm very excited to see the new digs. The sooner you start, the sooner you can get better! #MonsterSquad ☝👌🌎

The energy here is amazing! Great instructors, friendly, professional staff and members. I have never taken Jui Juitsu before so my first day was a bit confusing but everyone was willing to help me learn the basics which was so cool. I joined after my first day and I challenge you to come out and get a feel for yourself. Amazing experience, no huge egos here...This place totally Rocks!
