My kids had a really fun time at Sender City. The Staff was very positive, helpful, and encouraging, which is great if your kids are a little tentative. The activities were challenging enough to make it fun for adults to participate with the kids. The auto belays allows you to quickly go from course to course, so my kids were pretty tired at the end of the hour. The one day pass is a little pricy but they have a five day pass that was more affordable.

For sure this was a top 10 funnest places we’ve ever been. My kids (age 10 & 11) both wish we had found out about this sooner. You won’t believe your eyes when you see the walls they have. The kids and parents were going nuts. Way better than the usual “trampoline gym”. Staff was amazing from the initial phone call, to the front desk, to the quick tour guide before we paid, to the people that set us up and helped us on the walls.

A good climbing gym if you like top rope. The price is more expensive than Hangar but it seems to be the only top rope gym in OC so you will just have to bear with it. I did the 5 punch for $70 a pretty good deal. I liked the intro belay class but the problem is you will have to find a belay partner after that. I couldn't find anyone so I ended up doing bouldering for the rest of my 5 punch. The bouldering area doesn't have a lot of jugs. There are a lot of children running all around in the area so be careful when you drop. The route setting is not as good compared to Hangar. Overall, if you do top rope in OC this is good enough. For bouldering I recommend somewhere else.

Please give Ryan M a raise! I came with my Dad today to be his belay partner for his lead climbing test, and Ryan was great! Incredibly knowledgeable, super professional, letting us know exactly what he was looking for so that we can stay as safe as possible and pass the test. Unrelated to the test specifically, he also gave some great recommendations for rope management, and other resources related to climbing in general. What I really appreciated is how calm and knowledgeable he was. Testing can be very hard on the nerves, and folks like Ryan help to get you as comfortable as possible while still ensuring all requirements are met so that folks are safe. Thank you Ryan!
