CKD Academy of Martial Arts

CKD Academy is amazing! My kids have learned so much. From techniques and self discipline, to it being a great form of exercise.I love the structure of the class. It has boosted my daughters self confidence! I am so glad we have a program like this in our community.

I greatly appriciate all that CKD is instilling in my kids. Tutition covers 2 classes a week plus Open Dojo once a month and sparring sessions... so students have everything they need to succeed in these classes. My elementary aged son is also learning respect and what true strength looks like through the discipline of this program... and he has fun doing it! My teen is learning self defense skills and awareness that makes me feel so much better about sending her off to college soon.

Sensei Heather and Sensei Travis are amazing. I love how each class is no more than 10 students for the littles. Each week is a new lesson, like focus, following directions quickly, etc and we continue using these principles at home and at school. It has really helped my five year old. We feel very fortunate to have found CKD.

My son has been going to CKD for about 10 years now and I can't say enough about how great it has been for him. He has learned so much from both Sensei Travis and Sensei Heather and I appreciate how they have always been there to help my son, who is currently working towards his brown belt!I feel they go above and beyond any other place with providing kids extra practice with Open Dojo Saturday's and giving us parent's a break (and the kids have so much fun) with Parent's Night Out. If you are looking for a dojo for your child to learn , have fun, and feel safe knowing they are in very good hands, CKD Academy of Martial Arts is that place. As a side note, both Sensei's have learned their craft from Grandmaster Marx and the stories they share are really cool to hear.

We've been attending CKD for several years for both our boys! We love them and they are always so helpful. My oldest also has attended a few tournaments. They've helped both kids become better listeners and taught them patience. Thank you Travis and Heather.

My children have been attending CKD for almost 4 years now. They have learned self-defense, confidence, respect and appreciation for martial arts. Sensei Travis and Sensei Heather are professional, kind and provide an amazing atmosphere to learn. I highly recommend their dojo to any family in our area!

My kids have gone here for about 3 years. The Senseis are wonderful people who genuinely care about the kids and training them; not only in self defense, but as a whole person. I have noticed huge improvements in my kids' self-discipline, work ethic, manners, and higher self esteem. We look forward to being part of the CKD family for years to come!

My kids love going there. They are great with all the age groups. There is focus on all areas of life including responsibility, respect, hard work, self protection, kindness and much more!

Sensais Heather and Travis are really great! They can keep the students in line, but still have fun. My kids can't wait to go to classes, and it's helping them with their discipline and focus.
