Considering everything going on (pandemic) these guys are on it. Staff is constantly there cleaning, answering questions, and above all spreading positive vibes.I'm pretty upset it took my regular gym closing for me to get a membership. I don't see myself going anywhere else. The gym is pretty spacious as well, so crowding has not been an issue either.

Hands down the best strength class I've taken in a long time. Comparable to OrangeTheory in terms of the equipment and structure of the workout but far more strength based and less cardio which is perfect for building muscle and burning fat long term vs relying on a constant cardio routine. Also, can't beat the price AND the super accommodating staff including an owner who truly cares about his members and trainers who help you get the most of the workout classes! Great environment and great experience!

I love this gym. The staff is amazing, the gym is very clean, and the classes are great. I’ve lost 15 lbs, and have gained a lot of definition, strength, and stamina from doing their bfitt classes. I highly recommend this gym.

I started when I was 15 and still in highschool at the tail end of the pandemic. It was my first time ever setting foot in a gym and I felt extremely welcome, any questions I had about working out Eric was delighted to answer them. To fit everything into my schedule I had to start going to the 5:30 class and I go every weekday, every time I woke up and wanted to go back to sleep I remembered about the staff who were counting on me to get here and try my hardest every single day. I’ve been doing this for about 9 months and I have never felt better. Also during the Bfitt class Ryan always helped me out with my form and helping me figure out which weights are the best for me. Carly always taught me how to persevere through the pain during studio cycling class and David helped me focus more directly on form. - Dan

The classes are amazing. BFITT and yoga are just what you need. Ryan is an amazing trainer and coach. Sarah yoga classes are a perfect mix of workout, stretching and relaxing your mind. Bill Sunday morning Yoga class is exactly what you need to end your weekend and prepare for your work week. The gym is clean and I feel safe.

Best Fitness is a second home for me. The staff is friendly and professional, the community is supportive, and the facilities are well maintained. I spend at least 90 minutes at this location, six times a week and I always leave saying "This was the best part of my day."

Unfortunately today I froze my account, and might cancel at some point (we’ll see). The disappointing part is that the Schenectady Best Fitness has been one of my favorite gyms in all my years of lifting despite the subpar management and maintenance. It is well laid out, large, great selection of machines and free weights, and is average for cleanliness (pre-pandemic). Unfortunately when something breaks, it can take an extended amount of time to fix. The very sad part is that this location (I can’t speak for other locations) has effectively stopped enforcing masks and patrons are barely cleaning their equipment after use, if at all (to be fair staff used to be good at enforcing masks, but that was only after several complaints from other patrons and the enforcing stopped at least a couple months ago). So if you have covid-related concerns, this location is not recommended. If you like the idea of having the freedom of not being forced to wear your mask correctly while working out, this is your place! For example, staff will walk right by you and not say anything even if your mask is under your mouth! I know no gym will be perfect, but some are better than others and at least try. Lastly, climate control on the gym floor is insufficient in extreme weather. I’ve seen the thermometers on the clocks read as low as 58° in the winter (usually it’s the low 60s) and in the summer as high as 88° (usually upper 70s and humid), so workouts tend to be unnecessarily uncomfortable in either extreme.Weights: 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌗Machines: 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌗Cables: 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑Amenities: 🌕🌕🌕🌖🌑Hours: 🌕🌕🌕🌗🌑Temperature: 🌕🌕🌕🌑🌑Cleanliness: 🌕🌕🌗🌑🌑Management: 🌕🌕🌑🌑🌑Equip.
