I have been calling since the beginning of covid to cancel my membership . It has been over a year they have been stealing my money. I have sent 3 letters but because "they did not receive them" they refuse refund any of the money they took. The manager did not even have the professional courtesy to speak with me directly. It is a Democratic state I do not feel I should be charged for a membership that I could not use due to covid. Your company is a thief. I have so many others things to say to your company but can't say it here. POS!

Planet fitness is a joke pf a company to begin with but at $20 a month, hard to beat the price. The fact that they are requiring masks be worn during the workout is dangerous and makes them even more of a laughing stock.The staff is fantastic, though. It's just a shame the company itself is pathetic.Avoid this place.

I have a few health issues and fears that cause me concern to go to the gym. I decided to go one day, im being billed but not using it. So I go. On a bike one time, hard to breath with mask so take it down one side, no one around me they have machines on either side unusable, ok cool so, well within distance. Go another time on treadmill, take mask down so I can enjoy, do this about 2 more time. Well today......an employee comes over and asks me to put my mask on, now mind you the other times I'm right up front near the desk, today way to the back of the building,.....i asked why that is if no one is near me, and when it go to a restaurant and find my place I can take my mask down then, I wear it when it get off the machine and move around. How can you work out fully with asthma on a treadmill with a mask on. I cancelled my membership and walked out......this is poor service, there is so much distance in that place that me on a stationary treadmill, was not causing issues for anyone. Very disappointed, I will continue my business where its ok for me to be ok to work out. Low class is what this place is.

Very disappointed, I was a member for several years but recently needed to cancel membership. I was told that I needed to come into the gym or mail a letter asking to cancel. I mailed the letter because I've moved out of the area. They received the letter and I was sent an email confirming it. I was still charged a yearly maintenance fee after that. I called to speak with a manager left a message and never received a call back. .

It's cheap but no longer 24 hour which was the main reason I even joined in the first place. There's no bench press on deadlifting either. This gym is fine for the people looking to loose a few pounds but for people who are serious about fitness this place isn't for you.

Great and well-equipped place. Clean environment. The only thing that bothers me is the opening time. It says it’s open on the app but when you get there it’s closed and no door notice anymore. They just open the door and tell you to come back when they feel like opening. I wish it can be stated on the app so we don’t have to take the drive for nothing.

I am a regular participant at Planet Fitness in Edwardsville and am totally blown away by the entire experience at the gym. First and foremost they have the most amazing staff , not only are they helpful, but they are extremely eager to go that extra mile to accommodate your needs whatever they are and as far as the facility itself, it's equipped with the newest most advanced technology and equipment. Did l neglect to mention a wide array of free weights that are available for use all the time. l consider the opportunity of being a member of such a wonderful place as a privilege and am about to head over right now for my daily fix! There's absolutely no one judging you, so your comfortable working out there, even in these times of uncertainty l am totally comfortable of attending gym class because the staff are always cleaning and disinfecting the gym to no avail. The Planet Fitness in Edwardsville Pa is great. The gym is very clean and there are cleaning stations located throughout the entire floor. The 30 minute workout room that I used today has great equipment, however I wish there were more machines dealing with ab exercises. I know some machines were removed due to Covid, so I am sure they are in other areas of the gym. I also took advantage of a tanning bed. Once again, the tanning area was nice and clean, my bed was a good size and had great features. I can't complain about a thing. The service is great. The staff is super helpful and friendly. I opted for the VIP package and so far it's worth it. So happy I joined!!

Planet fitness needs more variety of cardio machines they only have 3 options treadmill, Step stair masters , and elliptical they only have the steps stair master I would like more options of stair masters and more cardio options they have a lot of treadmills to much treadmill they should have a variety of Cardio machines that’s my biggest problem with them we need more options more choices there’s not enough cardio options it’s very clean and staff is great but they need to give there customers more variety

While there are only 4 smith machines to bench press with, the option to run on a treadmill is almost always available with how many there are. And let's be real, it's better to work out your heart than your chest muscles ya silly goose.
