Support this small business. 5/5 location for people like me who were rehabing my broken leg. Plenty of equipment, the infrared sauna is great, and staff are on point.

The yoga classes at this gym are my favorite. The instructors are experienced and lead challenging yet accessible classes. The atmosphere is peaceful and calming, and I always leave feeling more centered and relaxed than when I arrived.

I've been a member since Jan 2018 and there's a lot to love about this gym. It is a small gym, but don't let appearances fool you. The space is used very effectively, allowing MANY more members to exercise than you might think. There is a wide variety of equipment (all kept clean and in good shape). But where NW Fitness shines is with their staff and an honest desire to innovate. They've added new equipment for a more holistic health-based experience (sauna, InBody exams), and they have strived to make personal training more accessible (small group training and looking at their prices from a social justice perspective for equity).Last week, staff reached out to me specifically, asking for feedback about how they could improve my experience. I know a handful of people who actively seek feedback and even fewer businesses that do. That personal touch will always stand out to me. Even though I don't exercise as much as I should, I am very happy my money goes to a business that supports me as much (if not more) than I support them.

This gym is a joke. I've been a customer since 2019. When I signed up, it was a very different time. The gym community was smaller, the facilities were less packed, the sauna didn't exist; but it was home and continued to be home for 2 years. I ended up leaving for a couple months in 2020 during the pandemic, I wanted to support this small business, but I lost my job and was forced to leave. Once I stabilized myself I came back, happy to be there yet again. I signed up for the 1 year membership and made the most of it, coming 4-5 days a week religiously. Then, the year ended, I moved, I could not describe the melancholy I felt as I left the gym for what would be the last time. This was all soured by the call I got from a debt collector last week. Apparently prepaid does not mean paid in advance, because for some reason I magically owed them more money for 2023, which I did not sign for. I tried to explain this to the staff, but they are apathetic at best and completely uncaring at first. I realized in that moment that every friendly "hello" or "good afternoon" was just them being professional. They never cared about anything but my membership dues. When you bring up payment it's all smiles, when you give them pushback they turn feral. Despite this experience, it's still a great gym and it makes me mad to see what it has devolved into...It's no longer a community, it's capitalistic kiss-up advertising.

I am so thankful for NW Fitness and all they have done for me on my personal fitness journey. Chris, my personal trainer, is incredibly knowledgeable and I have learned so much already. John and Jess, the owners, are friendly and really focused on the community and gym users. I would recommend this family run gym to anyone looking for a welcoming, passionate, educated group of fitness professionals.

I often come to Seattle for work and I found this gym this time around. Small place, not crowded at all during peak time after work, clean, plenty of essential equipment… even more than my main gym back home. They have rings, a safety squat bar, 3d smith machine, steps, etc. you name it. Even an infrared sauna which I haven’t tried yet.24/7 access with a key fop and affordable too.Archer at the front desk took care of my weekly pass. Beyond happy to have found this spot. Now I don’t have to worry about breaking my programming when I go on work trips.
