The manager of this gym, Lisa, is a ROCKSTAR. She goes above and beyond managing that gym - leading small group and keeping things running. Highly recommend AF Southern Loop.

Jerry Lorey is the owner and very unprofessional. The gym is failing. Not even breaking even yet. So apparently he’s taking his frustration out on members like myself. I was fined $10 for opening the door for someone. I was fined another $25 when I leaned my 45lb plate up against the rack and when I went to question the charge and how maybe I should transfer my membership if they are going to be so ridiculous he got his panties in a wad and cancelled mine, my wife, and my brother n laws membership all together. Be careful if you join this gym. It will most likely close soon. The owner is a wimp. Don’t waste your time or money people. The owner is trying his hardest to bully me behind closed doors. Doesn’t even have it in him to call me himself or face me. 😂.

Great, locally owned gym. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable to answer any questions. The gym is clean and not over crowded. I look forward to trying out one of the fitness classes being offered.

Well organized, clean, spacious and filled with state of the art equipment and materials. I’ve visited over a dozen Anytime Fitnesses, both locally and away, and this is one of the two best ones I’ve ever seen.Multiple classes offered, plenty of cardio equipment and a great free/cable weights section plus a little area that would suffice for a little CrossFit-style workout.Management is friendly, accessible and promptly addresses all needs, ideas and suggestions.

This is a brand-spanking-new Anytime Fitness and its great! The staff is very responsive to any issues that arise (via the Facebook group) and will listen to requests for gear if you ask and it’s within reason. The gym itself is very clean with new equipment. They have lots of group classes like high intensity cardio, CrossFit style workouts, etc. that aren’t really my thing, but nice to know they are there. The “peak” hours seem pretty busy (4-5pm) but if you go outside of then the gym is pretty clear. If you’re looking for a great all-around gym that will fit your schedule, this is it!

Amazing equipment and spacecious gym. Cost is a bit high but is worth it. Free weights area is the best I've seen in the Shreveport area.
