I would totally suggest to the management to make this open 24 hours. It is close and convenient to everything. Totally true that for office workers and people who want to get a workout very early and late in the day after work is a good idea. Seriously.10am-7pm. Common, who can work out at those times. Basically if you are working, it is only applicable to work out from 4-7 pm if you can even make those hours to go. I have been to the West Springfield, Alexandria and Falls Church locations before and never had a problem. Hopefully this hours can be changed. I do love PF a lot and been a member for like 3 yrs now. Just disappointed for the hours for this location. They should have better marketing strategies and research on how current and future members wanted their hours of operation.Updated:Called this location today (jan. 2).They said they are open 24 hrs from Monday to Friday and they close 9pm on Fridays. Saturday and Sunday are 7am-7pm.

This fitness closes too early . I work all day by the time i get home at 7 pm ,it already closed

I decided to try this Planet Fitness for the first time today before work. It's really close to where I live, so why not? I knew that they were opening this location in December (it's been open less than a month as of this review), so I figured I should let you all know the details.First things first, the listed hours, if they haven't been changed yet on here, are incorrect. You can see the hours posted on the door to the gym in a photo that I posted before this review. This PF is open 24 hours on Monday-Thursday. They close at 9 PM Friday, and Saturday-Sunday they are open 7 AM to 7 PM. So if you're trying to come here after work on a weekday, don't fret! You can come as early or late as your want.This is a pretty basic Planet Fitness. It's very new, so the locker rooms are very clean and the showers are great. (the men's, at least, they won't let me into the women's locker room even for the sake of this review!). The gym still has that "new gym" smell. The windows all the way across the front are a nice aesthetic - lots of natural light during the day.As with all "newer" PF locations, the dumbbells go up to 75 pounds (most of the older ones only go to 60), though their bars only go up to 60 pounds. Plenty of cardio equipment, as expected, and a decent selection of weight/resistance machines, albeit missing some you might see at other locations, but that makes sense.The gym itself is one of the smaller gyms for sure, it can feel a bit claustrophobic even when basically empty. The abs and stretching area is small with a very low ceiling in this area, so tall people, beware if trying to lift anything over your head! I'm 5'10.5", and I could touch the ceiling without really getting high on my toes. However they get a bonus for having kettlebells, medicine balls, and resistance bands. No PF360 station or TRX straps at this location - again, relatively small gym, so I can't really think of where you would put them.The staff seems nice enough, didn't really have much interaction with them, but I did see them cleaning and walking the floor a lot, which is always good.Overall, the 3 stars is basically because it's your average Planet Fitness. Nothing major to write home about, but it'll get the job done well enough if you know what you're doing.

this morning i came here and i had the worst experience with one of the employees, they treated me very poorly. i came in and followed all the rules and did everything correctly. when i arrived to the machine i took off my mask just like everyone else does. one of the employees came up to me and started to bother me asking me why i took off my mask when clearly everyone had it off and i was at my machine already. i told her i was gonna leave and she just said yes go leave, as if she was kicking me out. i went to the gym to work out independently i wasn’t bothering anyone, but she had it with me. it felt like discrimination because she had it against me when everyone else did not have their mask on but she chose to bother me. and the safety there isn’t well they don’t even check the clients temperature. worst experience ever 😡

Gym is new and partially opened after corona. (Hit studio& abs and stretching closed off). I understand that they don’t want to clean the showers after each use but the bathrooms are completely closed except for the lockers because of a “plumbing issue”... after all this time of being closed all of a sudden there is a issue. Just say you don’t wanna constantly clean the bathrooms or at least advertise it online so I know I don’t have to find someplace during my workout

Can't stop in before or after work.revisited better hours, I recommend this location. Only issue is tight parking spaces.

Fantastic place conveniently located right In the middle of everything! Couldn't do without it, they are also expanding their hours rapidly as this is a new location, which makes it even better for those of us who work all day. Can't wait for full 24/7 status! Happy New year!

I hope this previous review (Jen V) of this establishment is removed due to incorrect information. This is a wonderful planet fitness and they have followed all guidelines during this pandemic. It's a shame to have a bad review (possibly permanently) based on someone's incorrect information during a pandemic and not the establishment itself. It's never overly crowded and I have been asked everyday, all month, if I have any symptoms. Their facility is super clean and I see them cleaning them entire time I am there. There is also a lot more staff to help with anything you need at this location compared to others. Everyone has been really polite! Also it has been under construction recently so it's really nice!
