Terrible customer service. The guy upfront was very disrespectful. I was going to grab a drink and that guy tells me in an bad tone of voice that I have to check in and that my daughter is not allowed to be there due to age restrictions. I totally understand that there are rules. But, there is ways of telling people things with out being so aggressive. If he would of been polite I wouldn’t take it in a bad way. My job requieres me to travel to different states and from all the planet fitness I have been too, this has been the worse experience I have had. I’m sure this will affect this place in the future. If he talked to me this way I’m sure he will continue this with other people. It will be only a matter of time where they keep losing customers. Esporta down the road was way better in this town. It’s really interesting that one planet fitness can make an impact on all. I’m canceling my membership ship with them.

Planet Fitness has every kind of equipment you would want. The members are friendly and respectful towards one another. The Staff are always cleaning and very welcoming and helpful upon entry. The locker rooms are clean and the shower area is clean! Always a great workout.

I’ve been going to Planet Fitness for quite some time I started out at the Clearwater Florida location never had an issue since I’ve been till this day I walk in and I mind you I drove all the way from Jacksonville Illinois so I could get my workout in just to be informed that I can’t work out because my payment didn’t go through that was supposed to have gone through two days ago so I turned around and walked out normally I would receive a text message or an email stating that my payment didn’t go through but no not this time around I’m not sure if it had anything to do with me switching locations that I didn’t receive a notification but I was very irritated from it. Plus it wasn’t very discreet it was kind of in Front of everybody that was so embarrassing

I appreciate the duplicate workout machines that allow people to move through without waiting for one to open up. They are easy to operate. I also appreciate the long rows of elliptical machines and treadmills that have allowed me to be distant from others during the COVID period. I appreciate that the music is cranked since I prefer to listen to my own headphones. The staff have been courteous and helpful so far and the place is kept clean.

I like this gym, its clean and have a good variety of equipment and you get great features for the price.

If you are looking for a gym I’d recommend not to join this one. I joined this gym sometime around February and decided to cancel because I moved to a new apartment farther away. Then I rejoined because I decided that I would just go on my way home from work. I was charged an annual fee twice. Now I’m relocating completely out of state and went in to cancel my membership and they tell me that I’m gonna get charged for my last month tomorrow. Planet fitness will literally take every dime they can from you.

Clean, airy facility. Friendly, helpful staff. Inexpensive membership. Plenty of parking. Feels a little sterile though & the surroundings are pretty purple. I'm a Prince fan so no problemo. I do miss the welcoming, comfortable feel of the old Downtown Y. I also miss using an indoor track & boxing equipment, but it's a nice place to work out.

Adequate if you want to do cardio - less than worthy of a higher rating because of the lack of free weights. Grossly discriminatory toward men. If you have nowhere else to go or can’t afford an actual gym, go here.
