I’ve always loved this gym. I’m happy to see their sanitation practices, considering present circumstances with COVID. It’s nice to see a public place, especially a gym (higher risk environment), enforce strict COVID guidelines. This is what will keep these businesses open. Thanks, PF!

Great fitness center for beginners. there is not free weights. most machines are open and if taken you won't have to wait long. I would give 5/5 if there was barbells and a real power rack.

Very nice and spacious. Machines are a decent distance apart and have privacy barriers. Staff is friendly and helpful. Face masks are required, and you must sanitize your machine after you use it (handlebars, seat, etc.). Lockers are available to store your belongings, and you can purchase bottles of water at the gym if you need one. All of the other members are very friendly, and most of them are average joes like me, plenty of older folks who arent body building athletes, so you dont have to feel embarrassed or intimidated to work out around them. Black card members get the added benefit of the spa area, which I love to death! I haven't had the chance to use it at this location yet, but the hydro beds were always my favorite way to loosen up and relax in my old home location.

Love this gym, it has the machines I like to use & they’re on it when it comes to clean up & keeping the place maintained. Only wish there were more than one of a few machines. I will definitely be recommending to my friends & family.

I recently signed up online. I assumed that the gym was following the governors guidance for operations during Covid. When I arrived I found that that is not the case. When I addressed it with the representative, they said that they were not following it yet. Oddly, they were following it before the last shut down. There has been no change in wording, even though the respective described it as vague.I realize that a business can course to be more restrictive if they wish and I respect that. I asked for a refund of the small amount of money that I was charged online to prorate the first month. I was told I could not do that, even though it was only my first visit. In a member before the latest shut down, I canceled my membership during that period. I canceled the membership I spoke to the same representative I spoke to you today. I asked if they would be following the governor’s guidance when the restrictions were decreased and they said yes. So I assumed that the information that was given was correct and truthful, only to find out today that it was not.It seems business practice to make a small fee, the cause t the off losing a customer who would be willing to come back once the conditions changed.Updated: Business's response does not seek to reconcile the issue, but rather provide a generic response to a situation that could be easily clarified. I obviously went into the business and attempted to speak to the representative about the situation, to which they did not provide a reasonable solution.

Planet Fitness in Springfield, Illinois is a great facility with wonderful staff! I truly appreciate their "No Judgment" attitude. The staff has always been very helpful and friendly. Even in these turbulent pandemic times, the place is clean, well-maintained, and the staff genuinely seems to care. While I am taking a hiatus due to Covid-19, I look forward to life returning to "normal", and I continue to recommend Planet Fitness to my family, friends, and anyone who aims to live a more healthy lifestyle.

Great gym! Has a lot of quality equipment for beginner and intermediate lifters. Best part is that membership is only $10 and it’s open 24 hours. Love working out here.

At many PF clubs, you get what you paid for. But for this club, you get a lot more! I have been working out here for the past couple of months. This has been the cleanest fitness clubs I have ever been to.There’s someone at any point of time, cleaning the floor / equipment. Erika is always helpful and friendly. Every other staff member is welcoming & polite. They have been doing a done a great job with social fitnessing (distancing) and maintaining hygiene though out the pandemic. Hands down, they are way better (not just price wise) from their competitor down the street. Great job guys, keep it up!Also, I want to mention about the ‘crowd meter’ update on the planet fitness app. As it’s named, it shows you how occupied the gym is. It has been super useful for me during the pandemic.

I love this gym! The staff are always so friendly. The other gym members are very courteous to each other. It really is a judgement free zone. It also helps that it is a very cheap gym with great equipment & open 24/7.
