I’m a 60 year old veteran with a replaced right knee and four steel rods in my left ankle. I called Marcus, the owner and trainer a few weeks ago to get some information about his different classes. I was a little apprehensive because of my age, injuries and condition. Marcus assured me they would all be fine. I took an introductory classes in the three areas that interested me then started taking Urban Fighting Concepts and Muay Thai classes. The training sessions have been great, difficult and intensive, but great. I feel I have learned a lot and really enjoy the attentive training by Marcus. Marcus is very personable and cares about quality training. If you’re looking for a way to get into shape, learn new skills or become better at what you already know I highly recommend Warrior Meets Scholar. I look forward to continuing to learn and develop my skills and abilities and rebuild confidence. Thank you Marcus for what you do and your willingness to share your skills and abilities.

My son started training in the beginning of summer and he just became a beast ! He’s disciplined and his attitude is 100 times better now than it was before ! Coach Marcus , is one of the best coaches in town, and I highly recommend you or your kids to sign up ! I myself signed up a week ago and it was the best decision in life I made ! I wish I would have signed up sooner!

I was a BJJ coach and student at WMS, but I was strictly a student in the Muay Thai program ran by Coach Marcus. I’ve trained at multiple gyms, (and even after moving out to California where I’ve had an opportunity to check out even more gyms) I can easily say that warrior meets scholar is one of the most structured and organized gyms I’ve been to. The Muay Thai program is carefully planned for people of all levels and I was able to train in a fight camp along side beginners. As a fighter under Marcus, I’ve never had a more supportive and thorough coach than him. He made sure I was healthy my whole entire fight camp in multiple ways, and took care of all the business side of fighting for me. In my opinion, and as a fighter that’s checked out every gym in southern Utah, this is the best place to train there!

Amazing gym and amazing coaches! They push you to do your hardest and be the best version of yourself. I’ve trained at two gyms prior to this one and this is hands down the best one I’ve trained at!

I'm currently on my 6th month training Muay Thai here at Warrior Meets Scholar, and I truly don't have enough good things to say about this gym. I've never trained any martial arts prior, but what an absolute blessing it has been on my life. Coach Marcus and Coach Beth are skillful, knowledgeable, and very dedicated to their students. If you're willing to put the time and effort into your choice of martial art, whether that be Muay Thai, BJJ or Kung Fu, Coach Marcus and Coach Beth will mold both your mind and body into a weapon in which you can carry with you for the rest of your life. Not only that, but these are genuine people, who are great examples of strength, mind, discipline, and character. The training isn't easy, you will be pushed to do the best that you can, but this isn't just some cardio kickboxing class. You're learning real skills, with real practitioners, and masters of their craft. The attention to detail is quite astounding, if you want to learn genuine Muay Thai, BJJ, or Kung Fu, this is the place to be.

The only class I have done at Warrior Meets Scholar is the Friday morning Qigong class. It's amazing! I walked away feeling present and energized. I woke up that morning feeling pretty tight but after class, I felt like all the tightness had gone away. Marcus, the owner, is great teacher! Highly recommend!

I've never done a martial art in my life prior to starting BJJ at WMS. Bethany + Marcus are beyond attentive -- especially to detail. They treat all of their students equally and with respect + are 200% present the entire class. WMS is more than a place to train. It is where you get more out of your life-- how to be healthier, be a better human etc. Run don't walk to give them a try-- you won't be disappointed!

This is a wonderful Gym with an amazing culture and staff for anyone of any level to Join. I had Met Marcus, the owner at a seminar out of state and he kindly invited me to come check out his gym, and WOW! The instructors are so knowledgeable and friendly! Being very new I felt very welcomed and cared for. At other gyms it’s not uncommon to be left alone doing 1 exercise by yourself for half the session, but here at Warrior Meets Scholar they make sure everyone has equal attention, and the best instructions on how to improve. If you are ever considering trying a new martial arts gym, or interested in giving it a shot as a newbie, I would highly recommend trying out this gym! Very clean, very structured, very welcoming, and overall a gym that will become a new home to me!
