Body Center St. Pete

I was referred to Body Center years ago and wish I had listened! Sarah is amazing and is helping me feel like a functioning human again.

I cannot imagine a more knowledgeable, capable, caring practitioner. I had a cervical spinal fusion after a car crash several years ago, and had a lot of severe exacerbations of pain and muscle spasms for years. My "good days" were still painful, to the point of struggling to get decent sleep, and limiting exercise and one of my passions, paddling. Shila was THE thing that made the difference in getting my quality of life back. I saw so many medical doctors, chiropractors, and physical therapists before her with no significant improvements. I cannot count the number of times I went into her feeling like I could not stand up straight and in constant pain, but would leave her office feeling completely better. I absolutely had to do "homework" to keep up with the progress she would make, but she gave me the tools I needed to do that, as well. She is a true healer and so incredibly good at what she does. Thank you, Shila!!

Incredible treatments after a very serious accident!!Other therapy was not working!!The body center ...repatterns muscles.... ..which retrain...unlike treatments from chiropractors...bones have no memorySo happy we found the body center. Brunella is such an amazing therapist. The whole center is beautiful and clean and has so many amazing resources including online videos that are so beneficial and helpful to healing and the therapists are so knowledgeable on the body.

Alyson is treating my scoliosis which I have had all my life. In just two treatments she has made a significant improvement in my posture, skeletal alignment and pain. She is extremely knowledgeable and skilled. She gets as much joy in my improvements as I do! I am very grateful to Alyson and Shila the owner of the Body Center.

I love love love ‘Body Center of St Pete’! I have been a client & friend of Brunella for over a decade & have also known Shila for many years. I would follow them anywhere because I trust them for all of my Body Work needs. Nobody else can work the magic that they do to keep me feeling & functioning at my best. Todays session was extraordinary - Brunella treated my sinuses which had been bothering me for several months. I’m happy to report that I’m 100% improved & feel like a brand new person. There are not enough stars to give this place or their professional, knowledgable staff! I am a nurse, personal trainer and group fitness instructor. I’ve been in physical therapy since 2019 for a multitude of injuries. Their knowledge of the human body and the effects of repetitive patterns and injuries is fascinating. I’ve had structural massages from Delfina and Alyson that have undone years of pain and spasms in my neck, back, legs, buttocks and shoulder to give me full range of motion and decreased my pain significantly. Heidi and Shila have broken down exercises to the most minuscule movements and taught me how to reset my patterns and exercises. I am so thankful that I have found this amazing group for my health! I highly recommend The Body Center of St Pete!

Long story short but I was injured/possibly cracked a rib diving in beach volleyball. Was sore for a week and it was only getting worse, not better. I went to the Body Center (referred by a friend) and it CHANGED EVERYTHING! Jessica, one of the Pilates instructors, did a corrective exercise that stretched me out, non-painful and left feeling GREAT! I went in not being able to take a deep breath or cough without having a stabbing pain in my side and within a couple days after leaving there, I was back in the court feeling normal! Thank you Jessica and the team at Body Center for all the support! Highly recommend this place… the instructors REALLY know what they are doing!

So far I've only had one session with Brunella. At first I felt much, much worse. I got anxious even that things in my body were worse than i thought.But she fixed some long standing issues I've had in just one session. Granted, i have hundreds more to go through as someone with a connective tissue disorder, but i have noticed marked differences in my pain level and mobility.I'll be back eventually. The downside is the price, but if you can afford it do it.
