Everyone at the BE makes me feel welcome and at home. My practice continues to improve. The instructors are thoughtful and guide each practice to accommodate all levels. I love the wonderful and positive energy that the BE family fosters and creates. I wish my schedule allowed me to go more often. I highly recommend this wonderful yoga studio!!

My partner and I came to St. Pete for vacation last year and an internet search directed us to BE. We were not disappointed. We are back at BE again, one year later, and love it so much we bought a class pass to go as often as possible during our week here. We have been to many studios in our travels and this is our hands down favorite. It is the studio to which we compare all other studios. BE attains the yoga community energy on and off the mat. They are involved with the community (do service) and offer events geared at the task of helping yogis in their endeavors to live all yogi principals. Keep up the good work my friends, your efforts are so appreciated.

This studio and teachers who teach here cannot be beat. Great space, music, flow sequences, people. I go to classes and am sad when I have to leave!

Amazing studio with beautiful spaces. Amanda’s classes are some of my favorites. Highly recommend for any level of experience. Can’t beat the drop price on Fridays.

I had a terrible experience yesterday. I am not one to give bad reviews unless I feel like it can help someone else, and perhaps the business. I went to the Power/Yin class. (I had never been to this studio prior.) I was most interested in the Yin portion as my body really needed it. I knew from the schedule that the regular instructor was being substituted by another instructor. The bio for the substitute assured me that I was in good hands if I went to the class (sub had 500 hr certification). When I got there, an instructor came in and announced that she was the sub for the sub. If you have not taken Yin, it is a powerful practice which really loosens up deep tissue, but it is not regular Yang yoga. The sub for the sub instructor gave a good Power portion of the class but it took no time at all to see that this instructor was not qualified to teach Yin. We did headstands and shoulder stands which are not part of Yin. We used straps to pull us into a forward fold - in Yin, there is no pulling...in fact there is no forward fold (closest asana would be caterpillar). There was no advise for use of props which is important in Yin to avoid injury. My concern coming out of this experience is that this studio allowed a teacher with no experience in a particular practice to teach. (They could have easily told the class that there was no Yin instructor available and that they were replacing the Yin portion with Gentle or Restorative Yang yoga.) This is careless and self-serving. Also the idea of performing headstands in a crowded class is ridiculous. I avoid inversions due to migraine issues, so I did a floor asana while others were attempting headstands. One woman fell over with a thud and just missed me by an inch. Over all, my impression is that this studio does care enough about their client yogi's well being. I won't return.

I love BE! The instructors are absolutely top notch! They are all approachable, kind, and willing to help. The atmosphere is very relaxed with no judgment. Highly recommend it for beginners who feel intimidated.

The Body Electric is one of my favorite places in St. Pete. I think there's something for everyone here, from beginners working to get in shape to professional athletes. The studio itself is inside of an old ice factory, and the expansive ceilings (one of the studios is aptly named the sky room), exposed brick/beams, tasteful decor, and modern touches make it such a great place to spend time taking care of yourself. The owners and the teachers are friendly, knowledgable, and obviuosly dedicated to providing solid service.I stumbled into the studio almost 3 years ago, taking advantage of their $5 Friday as my first ever yoga class (uh, all their classes on Friday are only $5...), and I've been going regularly ever since. Finally, the BE is probably the best value in terms of fitness offerings in the area with their monthly membership. Go, have fun, and keep yoga weird!

BE is the best yoga studio I have ever been to and I have been to many many in different states and countries. The atmosphere is unbeatable, the teachers are smart and funny- the best combo you can ask for. I moved to Pittsburgh 2 months ago and I miss this studio so much! Let's keep yoga weird! Namaste:)

This place changed my life. The BE came into my life at the perfect timing. This is the most beautiful building filled with even more beautiful teachers. All bring something different but so perfect to the table making this such a well rounded studio for anyone! I have been going for over a year. Playing here is something no one regrets!
