I would recommend MIM to anyone. Patrick provides a welcoming, clean and challenging environment to anyone who is looking to get in shape, learn a new skill, or meet a community of people that love movement. His classes are catered to all levels and the classes are enjoyable! As a former fitness coach myself I would rate him as one of the best gyms in Syracuse.

Patrick is an excellent teacher. You'll always leave with something you didn't know when you walked in the door. The space is open and has a variety of potential uses. The people who attend classes have been nothing but welcoming as well. With classes like handstands, acro yoga, and personal training, it's the exact kind of gym I've been waiting to find for years.

I stumbled across M.I.M. Athletics while searching for alternative options to traditional gyms. I found those just weren’t working for me. M.I.M. stood out since it's calisthenics based, and focuses on helping clients build strength, muscle, flexibility, and mobility. I reached out to M.I.M's owner and trainer, Patrick DiBello, and expressed my interest in working with him.Not too long after, I was at Pat's awesome space telling him about the little and lackluster fitness experiences I had up until that point. I also explained that I travel for work most of the year, and as a result found it difficult to keep a traditional gym routine.Since working with Pat, my body has felt so much better. I can feel my muscles are opening up and already becoming stronger. His sense of humor and experience makes him a damn joy to work with. He doesn't just give you exercises to do for the fun of it. Pat watches you closely and works exercises with you that really cater to your body and current strength/challenge level. Calisthenics is about using your body weight, so you don't need to worry about dealing with machines.Pat takes a genuine interest in your fitness journey and cares about you. I encourage everyone to work with him. He will absolutely help you achieve your goals. Oh, and if you’re lucky, his super handsome dog, Stanley, might just make an appearance while you are there.

MIM is where my friends and I train calestetics, handstands and acrobatic calestetics. Patrick provides a clean welcoming space, organized to promote the eger in their body awareness. Fun times with his ever so clever customised excersize routines(a solid mix of what has allowed me mobile stregth.)

Leaving any of Patrick’s classes have always made me feel empowered. Patrick’s teaching style is one of the best I’ve experienced; you exit every class with a better understanding of our bodies and movements you how to easily incorporate them your own daily practice. The community at MIM is extremely welcoming and supportive. If you’re thinking of taking a class here, DO IT.

I have been into lifting weights since my early teens, participated in a variety of sports including football, track, wrestling, karate, BJJ and mountain biking but my overall athleticism has expanded exponentially over the past 8-months of training at MIM with Patrick. I believe it is the combination of Patrick's depth of knowledge about human movement and insightful instruction that has helped me integrate sport specific patterns into a general capacity for motion.

Patrick is so incredibly knowledgeable, passionate and personable. The training and classes he offers are top of the line. He is great with working with new students and those that come from a variety of training backgrounds. I never leave a class without learning at least one new thing! You will not be disappointed by checking out his classes and personal training!

This establishment has permanently changed my life for the better. Patrick, the owner and trainer, is dedicated to making you comfortable while also giving you the push to do your best. He continually educates himself and his students and is totally transparent with his methods. I’ve never been stronger in my life. I link my training with things I do in everyday life. And most importantly it’s so much fun to attend Pat’s classes! There is truly something for everyone.
