We have only went to our first class and absolutely love it so far!Me and Lando signed up for monthly memberships and are already signed up for our next class this Wednesday! From the front desk staff to the amazing coach (Will) we had a blast working our tails off in the studio! We were walked through the process, shown how and when to do the different parts of the workout, and can't wait till our next class! We definitely felt like a home like welcoming environment with no judging or anything of the sort! We felt right at home! Also each exercise was at your own pace and then you find your maxes or "All Out" pace. We loved that we found our kin and max and we're pushed past our comfortable limits by the coach in a very appeasing way not pushy or forceful but encouraging!I definitely recommend coming here and at least giving it a try even if you don't sign up it will give you something to talk about at the next bbq or friends night!

I like everything about an Orangetheory workout from the treadmill to the rower to the weight room. Every workout is unique in its own way and every day is different. I get bored easily doing one thing for too long and that is NOT the case at Orangetheory with all the different exercises movements and switching throughout the class. I have grown to love every kind of day, endurance (I never liked to run before Orangetheory), strength, & power. Orangetheory workouts force me out of my comfort zones and make me push myself to do things I never imagined I’d be doing. Not only is the workout it’s self great, it’s the community/ family at Orangetheory that keeps me coming back every day. The coaches and other members make Orangetheory so enjoyable.

Orangetheory Fitness Tacoma is the first gym that I've ever stuck with. Over one year in and I consistently find myself striving to be better and noticing positive changes. The staff is amazing and every coach is wonderful. Get yourself there as quick as you can, it will change how you look at fitness!

Absolutely love my workouts there. The trainers are incredibly knowledgeable, motivating and the workouts are rigorous yet, they change up enough to not get sick of it. The front desk is always helpful, kind and will help you out for whatever you may need. It is definitely a gym to check out!

This workout is the best! I have never used a gym- too intimidating and how would I know I was doing what I needed? But at OT, I don’t have to worry about that. The coaches tell you what to do, your heart monitor info tells you how hard you are working and the staff are encouraging and fabulous.

I hate working out. Can you relate? Orange Theory in Tacoma is the only time I've tried a workout and my comment after was "I didn't hate it!" I've now been going consistently for over a year. It's literally the only workout/gym plan I've stuck with. The coaches and staff are great. Gotta include a shout out to Will, who is super upbeat and has the best playlist! I am so happy this place found a home in my neighborhood!

I’ve been a member at Orangetheory since it opened. The classes are great. They’re varied every time and are never boring. Most of the coaches are very enthusiastic and push you to your limits, which is awesome! My fitness level has dramatically improved since I’ve been going to OTF, and I’ve gotten faster on the treadmill. That being said, there are a few negatives. The workout area for the weights is small. If your neighbor(s) is/are inconsiderate or not paying attention, it can be frustrating to find the area in which you can workout. Most importantly, it seems to be a place that best serves people who have a background in exercising. The coaches, with a few exceptions, don’t seem to pay a ton of attention to people’s form. Sometimes you can see people doing exercises in a manner that is obviously incorrect and could potentially hurt them, and that is not addressed with any sort of regularity. I understand there can be a lot of people in class, but that seems important. Finally, there are two showers. This makes going to morning classes tough, as they can range in size from 26-39 people, and I imagine more than two people want to shower. It’s a little surprising that a gym that can accommodate that many people has such an inadequate shower situation.

When you call and tell me you need my credit card information to "reserve" my spot for a free class, that's automatically a red flag in my opinion. So that really means your classes are not really free, there's a catch to them. I'm not going to sign up for a gym that charges people $199+ for the same facilities I can get at my local gym for $30 a month. BYE FELICIA

Friendly staff. Always a good workout. Good music. Hate the cancellation fees. I already pay a hefty monthly fee for the services. As a working professional and as someone who works in Seattle, It's difficult to determine whether I can make it to the class that I booked 8 hours prior due to unforeseen circumstances. That's my workday. I can usually determine it within 6 hours, but I'm just getting to work at the time limit. It seems unfair because the folks who pay for 8 classes a month or per class or whatever, don't get charged. They just get bumped out of class. I can't help but think that the late cancellation charge is nothing to them but a revenue stream. At least I have the decency to cancel within a reasonable time; 4 to 6 hours prior is sufficient. 8 hours is unreasonable and inconsiderate. I'd like to ask you to reconsider this time frame.

Great facility and staff. Workouts have been challenging and diverse. Regardless of fitness level, this is a gym for everyone and you'll get what you put into it. I really like having the heart rate monitor and being able to observe which level of exercise I was in after the workout. Strongly recommend this gym. Sidenote: "Brian Shoaf" the one star reviewer, he gave a one star review before the gym was open to the public for classes, disregard that review.
