Planet Fitness

I have been a member for two years at this Planet Fitness. I have always been met with a friendly hello and a trainer who could help me with any restrictions I deal with. I am a disabled military vet and my abilities fluctuate. Sometimes all I can do is get a hydrommassage or use the red light stretching unit. The staff always treats me with respect and a friendly hello. If I need assistance , I don't hesitate to ask. Thank you for making me feel accepted and at home.

It was rude to fail to notify customers when the power was out. For the amount of information they have for each customer, they could send out texts or emails - especially since the staff was unoccupied with no one actually in the gym. Staff was there. They answered the phone. If I cannot depend on the convenience factor, I cannot use this gym. I am not blaming them for the power. I blame them for the lack of notice.

Great gym! I love the circuit room which is a 30 minute pre-configured workout room but in no means easy if you go hard at it. You can be you and not feel at all judged, good people just trying to stay/get in shape.

The best in Tallahassee. Puts Gold's to shame. The staff are always working to make sure customers have a great experience. It is always clean, well staffed, all the equipment works, and the locker rooms are very nice. The price is unbeatable too

The staff is extremely friendly, always willing to help. They definitely keep the almost new equipment perfectly clean, and they have stations where you can clean your own equipment ALL around the gym- super convenient. They also keep their bathrooms clean and the massage beds and chairs, and the extra that comes with the black card.The price is fair, they let you choose and some good benefits.Plenty of each machine, except stair masters (but nobody ever has enough)Have rooms to do abs, 30 min circuit and an open one with some leg machine. The hydro beds are often missing the pillows, smell like body odor and are often out of service. The ladies changing booths are always occupied by individuals that take up to 20 minutes to get ready- making those of us who work run late. Most times, the Changing booths are "reserved" by folks who place all of their belongings in them but are not even there. One morning on bagel Tuesday, a pest control worker was actually spraying around the front desk while the food and coffee was spread out on tables less than four feet away. Very disappointed in this location.

My sister is from New England she is a member of planet fitness since past 1 year. She always motivated me to join, Finally yesterday i went to planet fitness to check out (@this location) .I told the receptionist that I wanted to checkout the gym and I would try it out first and then make a decision on to join or not.To our surprise the receptionist was so damn rude and replied saying the we need to pay $20 a day to workout. My sister who pays $10 a month was shocked and felt so rude. We are never gonna come back to planet fitness and my sister is also cancelling her membership.Never experienced such a rude receptionist ever in my life before.

New Equipment, Really Great Staff - Robert is the BEST! They keep the equipment, locker and shower area in great condition (always clean)! Every time I visit (3 to 5 times a week), the staff is always attentive and everything is clean. Got an issue or problem, talk to any of the staff. They are responsive. In Tallahassee, I have been a member of the YMCA, Golds and Legacy. None of them are as good as Planet Fitness.

I totally enjoy Planet Fitness. I was at the same local gym from 2001-2014 when they closed. I love the new equipment and the interior design. I tend to only go around 6:30 am or on the weekends so I have never had a problem with a crowd. My only issue is that I have no idea what tv goes with the cardio machines but I am sure if I asked someone one would tell me. Also, I LOVE the way their showers are set up. My only qualm is that fact that contracts are month to month, I would rather pay out my contract then have someone debit my account monthly. That is the only reason I did not give them 5 Stars!
