What is the status on the children boxing program?

Empire MMA is the best MMA gym. Training is really good and the team is like a second family. If you are looking just for conditioning or for competing I would highly recommend joining this gym. I like the quality of the class, and the gym next door. Having a cage to spar is really nice as well to get used for fight night. Coach Rome and Javi are very knowledgeable and professional. If I could rate it 10 stars, I would.

I have never trained at this gym or location and am not affiliated in anyway with Empire MMA. I did attend a MMA event that they were present. When their fighter lost his fight the empire camp and fan base started an all out brawl with the opposing camp. No respect for the arts, fighters, promoter, and location continued to cause chaos. Throwing and hitting people with chairs Including striking an off duty deputy with a chair when he tried to stop that individual from striking with a chair, running over small woman and children to continue fighting. Multiple people attacking individuals. Didn’t even listen to law enforcement when told to disband. No self control, respect, or humility. The fighter who lost even got into the rumble and began to fight those in the crowd. Didn’t even listen to his head trainer or camp. Police had to get involved. Overall this gym and camp was very unprofessional and should not be invited or have competition level events. If this is what they condone and accept I would not recommend training there either.

The last review seems to have a different perspective on this, but a few weeks back we all went down to a fight night and a brawl broke out in the crowd. This was not started by us, but I was proud to see my teammates trying to break people up. Several of my team members put themselves at risk going into the brawl and trying to keep people separated. Afterwards our coaches all reiterated what we know: Respect is a cornerstone of competitive fighting. We are here to train, compete, and learn!

The previous post is completely false!!! Empire is a very professional establishment. A fight did break out after the Empire fighter lost however one, that had NOTHING to do with empire and its professionalism. Two, the other fighter's camp is who started that brawl; taunting the Empire fighter and his fans. Innocent bystander's where sprayed with pepper spray just because of the color of their skin and had NOTHING to do with the outside brawl. It was obvious Empire was being blamed when they had NOTHING to do with starting that behavior. From the way I saw it fans were DEFENDING themselves from the winner's fan's behavior of taunting yelling out racial slurs and such.

People will say bad things about a place they never been to just to make a person or place look or seem bad. It takes an individual to witness and see things for themselves. I wouldn’t lie to make a person or place look bad nor would I give a bad review off things told to me. This place is a friendly environment that respect and care about others. Please get facts before you lie or give bad reviews. Have a blessed day!
