I have been training here for almost 2 years, and absolutely love it! Professors Pete and Nick are extremely knowledgeable, and present information that really helps develop everyone's technique, and further their BJJ goals. I have the pleasure of training with an extremely diverse (and awesome!) group of people, who have also contributed to my progress. Whatever your goals may be, I highly recommend Easton BJJ in Thornton!!!

II have been training with Professor Nick for 9 years now years. I started out in Boulder in 2007 and in 6 months he made a impact in my life and in my training. It was such a big impact that when he and his brother started a new location in Arvada I followed them to their new academy. Soon after I started training in Arvada I met Pete.First and foremost both of them are amazing instructors and wonder people. They care very much about their students and want to see everyone have fun and do their best in a safe learning environment. The curriculum is set up in a way that a highly tuned athlete, someone who has never done any sports, or a person who has physical limitation (like myself) can learn and progress. I addition to the adult program they also run a great kids program. I never participated because I don't have kids but I have witness many kids and family classes in person and they do a outstanding job interacting and teaching the kids Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. In addition to the training the kids also learn lessons that create self discipline, respect for others, and "doing the right thing" when a situation arises outside of the academy.I know this sounds like a big "buddy" pitch but its not. Yes they are my friends but I have friends that I would not endorse for one reason or another so it's rare that I give out "5 Stars"Who am I ???? I am a retired US Marine, former US Army Soldier and now disabled vet. I started out my Brazilian Jiu Jitsu journey when I was 32. I was in the middle of my third enlistment and wanted to learn self defense to help me in survive in the field because my unit was going to deploy in the next 12 months. That was 2007, flash forward to 2016 and here I am, 41 with a lot more milage. I am not the warrior I use to be, they are good training days, bad training days, and some days where I don't make it in (but they call me to make sure I'm ok). I have never won any competitions out side the academy, but in training I win some and lose some but no matter what I have fun and get exercise. I have trained at a lot of great places but what sets Easton Training Centers and Martial Arts Academies apart from others is that the students and staff care about each other, we push each other to be better don't try to hurt each other, if we want to train and are hurt then we communicate it before hand so it is safe. Another great think I like is that we are welcome all easton schools like it was our home location. We also support each other at events and hangout together outside of class. That is why I am giving this school my endorsement. If you are still wonder about it I encourage you to try out a class and see what it is all about. I look forward to training with you.

Attending classes at this school is the best decision I've made all year. The proprietors of this school (Professor) Nick and (Coach) Pete are very knowledgable in techniques. The students are all hard working professionals that respect each other. I look forward to each and every class I get to attend.

I highly recommend the Easton BJJ Thornton location. I enrolled my 3 year old son first and was impressed by their "Little Tigers" program. Not only does my son learn BJJ technique but he loves the games they play as well. Plus there is "mat chat" where they learn about strangers, how to avoid conflicts, etc. My son cannot wait to go to class! After watching the instructors I enrolled myself and work with a great group. You cannot ask for better instructors w/ coach Pete, J.R., and professor Nick!
