Been here for 2 years and don’t think I’ll ever leave. The staff is always kind, helpful and probably more accommodating that I’ve deserved. The studios and locker room stay clean. Love the people here.

I believe there was some deal recently where they would give you a free smoothie if you left a 5 star review. I feel like its disingenuous for people to leave reviews without mentioning they are getting something in return. In all honesty, this gym is in pretty bad shape. When equipment breaks, they replace it by moving other equipment into awkward positions to fill the space, easily seen in the free weight area and the stair-stepper cardio area. The main TVs in the cardio section have not been working for a few months, cardio equipment is wobbly and most cardio bikes are missing their foot straps or have mechanical issues. The amount of cleaning supply areas have been reduced, so less people are wiping off equipment. I have seen the new sales employees working out and not racking their weights. Although lockers are only for daily use, it is obvious that people have claimed the most convenient ones and just leave their items. The clientele has also gotten worse, people are less considerate overall and more vulgar/loud. There are other issues that just make it feel dirty and poorly run. I remember when this gym opened, its sad to see its current state!

Mason is the man! He is increasing the sales of the smoothie bar easily by myself - he recommended a shake for me after introducing himself following a workout. I’ve got it 13 consecutive days now… rip bank acct.

Came here just thinking I would try it out, turns out, this is my new best gym. Appreciate the effort put into keeping it clean. Great bunch of regulars and overall great atmosphere.

We love Genesis Midtown! And as a member with several kiddos, We especially love that they have the best kids club! My kids are always excited to go and they love Jael! I know that my kids are going to be taken care of when she is there and i don’t have to worry. Which gives me the time i need and allows me to work out with peace of mind.

Equipment is not updated and they are not keeping up with renovations, steam room and sauna are not working, towels not stocked , eucalyptus spray bottle broken, a lot of machines are broken and not working , music is tremendously loud where it could hurt your eardrum and you can hear their music with noise cancelling headphones . Turn your music down please. I go to the gym to de-stress and pay and your gym is not run well at all. Needs to be bought out and have a new management company take care of it or just shut down if you can’t operate it . It’s a dump. Go to planet fitness much cleaner and you will pay less. And please get your own sauna if you want to be completely exposed all over in there without using your towel. It’s super creepy .

I went in to the gym to see if I would like to join. The facility is clean, lots of space & Cordell showed me around giving me a full tour of the facility! The location is great & it seems to have a lot of classes available! Thanks for great customer service!

The people at this gym are what make it special. The employees are great (Shoutout Mason at the smoothie bar for going above and beyond helping with any questions!). Women’s bathroom is always clean. Friendly atmosphere overall. I do wish there were some some more deadlift platforms, squat racks, better leg press & hack squat machines. I think the layout/spacing between machines could also use some rearranging. LOVE the mannequin that’s dressed up and put in random new places throughout the gym. 🤣

I have been working out at Genesis for quite some time and love it! The group fitness classes are top notch - energetic, skilled instructors with a welcoming community. The facility is nice and clean as well. I especially recommend HIGH fitness, barre, PIYO, body pump and Shine dance.
