Me and 3 friends came to check out this gym today. We were discriminated against due to our age. We all signed up for the 3 day pass to see how we liked the gym. We all live 20 minutes from the gym and are new to the area, trying to find a new gym. At the front counter, we were met with “where do you live? Isn’t it kinda far to drive here? We only give the 3 day pass to people who live in Tulsa”, imposing that we are just some “kids” trying to gym hop. I’m 25 years old and looking for a new gym home. No where on the sign up page for the 3 day pass does it say that we need to live in Tulsa. If this were the case, it needs to be clearly posted on the website. We called the Broken Arrow location and they stated that they are not aware of this “rule”, needless to say, I won’t be coming back.

There always seems to be something wrong with the facilities. The staff are great, however, the property management needs work. Last year the AC was out for months, this year there is a pungent stench of sewage through out the entire gym and in my opinion it's still not cool enough for a gym.The trainers and workers are always nice, but the building, weights, and overall atmosphere does not portray a "Health Club".I've been going to this location for quite some time, and am considering at least switching locations. If not just changing gyms entirely. For the price some people pay for a membership here, there's better alternatives.I can and will update/remove this review if I feel things are changing/have changed for the better.-------------------------------*UPDATE*The smell is much better now, i assume the gym had no control over it. I went to a couple other locations, and ive seen that they are all quite nice. I like this location because this one seems to be a lot less crowded with people at peak hours.

I got a peach and cream drink which was very good and I will make some at home. I go to the gym 5 times a week every week for classes which keeps me moving since I am close to 80. Great silver sneakers class with Bernie Tues and Thurs.

Rebekah is such a bright light! She’s so encouraging and pushes us to become stronger and healthier. We enjoy our Saturday mornings with her. Also we’re so thankful for the childcare workers!

Nice gym. Mostly come up here for basketball but a solid overall gym with plenty to do. Good staff, talked with Peter up front. Very respectful and helpful. Would recommend this gym to whoever asks

I’ve been to many gyms and none live up to this one! Kaijah at the front desk always makes me feel so welcome and is easy to talk to. I recommend this gym to anyone in any stage of their fitness journey.

Just recently joined Genesis and I have to say it’s great! Peter is one of the workers there and he was very helpful. He always had a smile on his face. The environment is friendly here. If you’ve been thinking of find a gym to join look no more.

I have been to a lot of gyms in my time and Genesis is one of the cleanest gyms I’ve been too. The girl at the front desk (Kaijah) was so sweet and so helpful! Very refreshing from most other gyms! Thank you Genesis for a great experience.!

1. Rebekah is the best teacher. She is so inviting and welcoming and makes you feel like you can accomplish your goals. She is 5 stars. The gym overall could be a bit cleaner but the staff is who make it great! The kids club workers are also really caring at this location.
