Have been going to this location for over 4 years since it was Sky Fitness. Ever since Genesis bought out this location, it has gone downhill. The AC wasn’t working last summer and I anticipated they were trying to repair it, but this summer rolled around and it is still not running. I have decided that they either aren’t repairing their HVAC equipment or they are trying to save money by having the temperatures be 75-80 degrees in the workout area. Equipment is not well maintained and machines break and get worn out. They were mopping the other afternoon (outside of my normal time) and it was the worst smelling mop water that I have ever smelled. My wife and I could smell it from 20-30 feet away. She said they normally mop around this time and it usually smells that bad.I will say one good thing, they recently hired a new front desk attendant and he is the nicest old man.If you are looking for a gym in Midtown, this gym is reasonably priced, but I recommend going to any other gym in the area. This is just the only one reasonably close to me that isn’t a boutique fitness studio.

Great gym! Good selection of classes and everyone that works there is so friendly. I’m a mom of two young ones, and the kids room is amazing. Also love the cafe. Go get a protein smoothie after a workout and say hi to Kaijah!

Save your money. The place isn’t maintained well. I’ve never seen maintenance done on any equipment. Staff can’t be bothered to show up on time.

I was fat. The. Kaijah made me a shake. Now I’m less fat. And 3 inches taller. And I found $20 on the ground at Walmart. That last part might seem unrelated, but it is not.
