Fantastic gym. Coach Don is very approachable, and his BJJ experience is extensive. The environment is serious enough for advanced students, and provides lots of help and input for the beginners as well. Great practice, great place, great people!

A fantastic family BJJ gym that provides an inviting and friendly atmosphere for learning about Jiu Jitsu. The owners are involved every day with training in a variety of classes for all ages and skill levels. I have been going here for several months now since moving into the area and plan to keep attending classes for the foreseeable future.

Not sure where to start, I have done Jiu Jitsu on and off for 2 years now. Taking a break from it was a big mistake, and the race to find a new Jiu Jitsu home was a long one. When I tried Emerge, I knew it would be a place I'd anchor in. It is another family for me. Coach Don and his family are all around great human beings and I cant say enough great things about them. Its a safe, clean atmosphere that is welcoming which is rare at most gyms.Coach Don is a great, patient instructor whose advice is tangible.Coach Jeff has been an outstanding instructor both on and off the mat.Emerge is a church for me, it humbles the ego and really helps with the battles and struggles life brings.If you are reading this and on the fence as I once was a long time ago, just take the leap and come in and try it out. Its a lifestyle that will change you and Emerge is the place to do it!

Myself and my kids have been training at Emerge for over a year and we love it. Very positive and supportive atmosphere. Coach Don is a phenomenal instructor and mentor along with Coach Mathew and coach Jeff they make a great team. If your looking to become a high level bjj practitioner or just looking for a great place to work out with a awesome team atmosphere Give Emerge a shot.

My 6year old son has been training at Emerge Jiu Jitsu for over 6months now and I was so impressed by the art and the gentle, genuine instruction and consistent encouragement here that I decided to start training along side my son as well as in the adult classes. I couldn't be more happy with Don and his family and the way they have helped my son grow in discipline, mental and physical health, and self esteem. Since beginning his training my wife and I have noticed considerable changes in his behavior, focus, and desire to learn in his homeschooling as well. If you or your children are looking into any sort of martial art or sport I highly recommend you try out Emerge Jiu Jitsu first!

This place is great. My daughter loves the kid classes. They have great classes for kids and adults. They are family friendly and woman friendly and even had a women only self defense class last weekend. They stand by their values and treat everyone with respect and kindness. I liked watching my daughter's class so much, I have now joined the adult classes. If you are thinking about Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, this is your place!

Wonderful place for children to learn at a different level. Don, Jennifer and Matthew were so good to my son. I will have my son attend hopefully this year once our schedule is set. Our friends recommended this place to us and I would recommend family n friends as well.

I just started classes at Emerge and am loving the family friendly environment. I can't wait till the next class and what I will learn from both Coach Don and Matthew in the many months to come! As a woman and being new to this, I felt intimidated at first, but was quickly put at ease by the not too overwhelming way in which both Coach Don and Matthew lead the class. Thank you Emerge BJJ!

The class was great and the instructors/coaches were very patient, kind, and super informative! We've known Don Cooper and his family for years and he is one of the very few men that I would completely trust my girl's with.I'm so impressed with what I've seen that I'm signing our whole family up! What a great way to learn self defense, discipline, and to condition and tone our bodies! Oh, and they are Christian, praying before and after class!

My 12 year old son absolutely LOVES learning Jiu Jitsu at Emerge!! Instructor Don is phenomenal. Physical activity isn't my boy's favorite thing in the world, so it is wonderful to see him work on moves he learned in class at home. The parent area is comfortably set up and I have enjoyed getting some work done on the laptop while he's in class, so it's a win-win for both of us!
