I've been a client of Pure Barre since 2009 and have been to many barre studios since then. When I found out my hubs and I were relocating to Vancouver, WA, I was stoked to find out there was a Pure Barre studio less than 10 minutes away from our new place!5 reasons for 5 stars for PB Vancouver - Grand Central:1) The classes. Both Pure Barre & Pure Barre Platform are fast-paced, very hard, and incredibly fun. The technique and flow of class for Pure Barre are better than all other barre classes I've taken. 55 minutes has never gone by so quickly.2) The studio. PB Vancouver is probably the cleanest, best maintained studio I've been to. Mirrors are always spotless, bathrooms stocked, carpet vacuumed... It is a place I want to hang out at AND work out in!3) The staff. From my 2nd or 3rd class I was greeted and known by name by the staff here. They made me feel like I was at my home studio and welcomed me into their community with open arms.4) The community. The studio has a bunch of events that encourage clients to get to know one another as they work out together. It feels like a big happy family that is incredibly welcoming to new clients.5) The location. This studio is right off the 5 and 14 on Columbia House Blvd., by Freddie's (groceries/pharmacy), Thatcher's (good coffee), Lapellah/Freshii (good food), and Willows (cute little boutique). It is so convenient to run errands/meet someone before or after class, or hop over the 5 down to Portland.Hope you find a home away from home like I do at this studio, all while getting into shape! :)Hope you find a home away from home like I do at this studio, all while getting into shape! :)PS. A few things to note if you are coming for your first class:- Arrive 10-15 minutes early to get acquainted with the studio.- Bring socks. They sell the sticky-bottom ones in the studio if you want those instead.- Water bottles are allowed in the studio; there is also a cooler with water and cups but I like to have water during class.- Wear long pants and keep your midriff covered to stay warm during class & burn more calories!- Try to have fun. It takes 4-7 classes to get comfortable with the class and your first will go by quickly!

Had a class taught by darron and it was the most fun and exciting class to get me up and moving after having a son 3 months ago. She helped me out by encouraging me with helpful words in front of the class and physically fixed me if my form was wrong so I could get the right burn. can't wait to take more classes from her! The best way to lose weight and sweat a lot and have fun while doing it!

What an incredible experience. I was so nervous walking into the class as someone who had never done this before. The instructor introduced herself immediately then went over the lingo and moves that I would expect to hear and do during class. This was so helpful. The class is tough don't get me wrong but just as I felt I was hitting a wall, I'd hear the instructor say my name and tell me how awesome I was doing. This pushed me to not give up. I was so impressed with the class and can't wait to go back

Love me some Pure Barre! As a long-time PB enthusiast from Northern California, this studio has quickly become my new home away from home in the Pacific Northwest. For first-timers:- This Pure Barre is located between a Red Robin and Freshii with easy access from the 5 and 14. Parking is a breeze most of the time, and Fred Meyer is in the same shopping center, so the location is super convenient.- Try to show up 10-15 minutes early for your first class so you can meet the teacher/get the best spot in class.- There are cubbies for your belongings, 2 restrooms, and 1 changing room at the studio. The restrooms are stocked with hair products & toiletries.- Sticky socks are a must! If you don't already own some, the studio sells it for $12/pair. Great for hardwood floors too if you have those at home.- This studio offers Breaking Down the Barre classes every month for free if you've taken class from the studio, which is great for helping you understand the lingo and technique of the class--highly recommend.- Have fun!

Pure Barre, all of the instructors and Barre staff have changed my life in so many ways, there is absolutely NO way I could ever return the love and awesomeness! There are not enough words in the English language to express my gratitude. This is my new lifestyle change and I am so grateful for this experience!!! I love all of the instructors, Barre staff and my fellow barre mates!I am Samoan and in my culture, family is EVERYTHING! I have happily added Pure Barre Vancouver - Grand Central to my very, very long list of families😎 because that is the feeling I get when I walk through that Pure Barre door. I get nourishment, encouragement, inspiration, love, good advice, wisdom nuggets, discipline, motivation, instruction, direction and most importantly, perspiration (teehee) and more!!! I am the toughest Samoan out there! This is probably the hardest thing I have ever committed myself to doing. And because it isn't easy, I think it's the best experience I will ever go through in this lifetime. I am so happy I made this very important life decision. I supremely, utterly and with all of my heart and soul, recommend Pure Barre - Vancouver Grand Central to anyone who has the fire and passion to change their life and find true happiness!!!!!

I started taking pure barre classes a week ago and I'm very impressed! Such an inspirational 55 minutes. From the outside, the workout is low impact, but on the inside, there is A LOT going on. I always come out of class sweating and refreshed! Definitely a place I would recommend to those who want to see results fast.

I have had the best experience at Pure Barre Vancouver. I didn't grow up playing sports, coordinated activities aren't usually my strong point! I started Pure Barre not to lose weight, but to become stronger and healthier. Everyone has been so helpful, and patient with me. I love going to the class vs doing a home video because they make sure you are in the correct posture, and aren't hurting yourself. The encouragement they give when it's HARD is also a plus! Physically I've seen a big difference in just 8 weeks. What I didn't expect was the mental difference... It feels great knowing I can do things I couldn't do just a couple weeks ago. It is also a great stress reliever/ get away from the daily grind for 55 mins! I'm hooked!

I've had three kids and my most recent was born two months ago. I need to get back in shape and wanted a work out to look forward to. Pure Barre is exactly what I've been looking for. It's fun, inviting, challenging and addicting. The instructors make you feel like you're already a pro all whole gently correcting your form and technique. It's a beautiful studio with a cute little shop. I can't wait to go again and continue to get better and see results!

I am addicted. From the first class, I was warmly welcomed to the studio. The instructors are encouraging, firm and really get your seat moving! I love the atmosphere, the fast-paced classes and OMG the results. I am in love with feeling strong, doing push-ups and seeing the effects Pure Barre has on my body. I feel stronger and it is amazing. Give it a try, you won't regret it. The only down side is that it is pricey - but it's an investment in your body, your health and your sanity! It's a great experience!
